I just started playing not too long ago.  This was one of my first discs purchased and has been a great disc as a beginner still learning.  It doesn't require a lot of arm strength and flies accurately even when not thrown the best.

THis disc is a must have for any beginner getting into the sport.  I have since purchased a couple more in other plastic varieties to try them out as well!

As many other reviewers have stated, there is a reason that so many players have this disc in their bag. This disc has unlimited uses and is suitable for all levels of play. While primarily used as a mid-range, the Buzzz can also be used as a control driver on technical holes or even a putter on windy days. The Buzzz provides diverse and flexible flight paths that can not be matched by most other discs. Highly recommend!

Profile: Think rim, thin depth.  Comfortable in most peoples' hands.

Flight: Straight.  It's going to turn a bit and fade back the same amount ending up straight.

    Comparison: Truth

Final thoughts: This is one of the best discs for new players on the market.  Don't listen to anyone who tells you to buy a Rok (too stable for new players) this is the one you want.

Almost every review I have read says this disc must be in every bag, I can see why. This is the most reliable disc I own. It does exactly what you want it to do. My favortie disc I own.

Ah yes, I gave in to BuzzzzMania. After hearing many people recommend this disc I decided to get one. My disc is a 165g in Z plastic. This plastic is smooth, has a great feel, and is very durable (it's hit a few trees and posts). The first couple of times I took it out and threw it, I couldn't figure out what everyone was raving about. Then I started throwing an MVP Vector with much success. Then I brought out the Buzzz again. Whatever I tweaked in my technique with the Vector made a HUGE difference on how the Buzz flew. Now that sucker flies great for me! So I would definitely say, if your Buzz isn't flying the way you think it should, it could be in how you're throwing it. I've now added the Buzz to my bag and put it into my regular throwing rotation. I think with a little more work, I could see this disc bringing me my first Ace!
