The Buzzz is easily the greatest midrange disc of all time. Its very straight flight is one that can always be trusted. The buzzz is a fantastic disc for any skill level.

The Buzzz really is the bees’ knees. Discraft runs this mold with consistency, so you know what you are going to get every purchase! Even more awesome is that they make a Buzzz SS and a Buzzz OS for a full Buzzz-lover midrange loadout! I purchased three regular Buzzzes: one ESP McBuzzz and two in green Big Z. They handle torque like absolute beasts and seem to prefer being thrown hard. For field training, I love to rip them and watch them hold whatever line I put them on, always landing within 15 feet of each other.

That said, the Buzzz has not quite made the cut for my own bag. I can get maybe 260 feet of flight out of it, but it doesn't have the glide for my noodle arm to push it over 300. Therefore I opt for the Champion Mako3 and EMAC Truth; the former gives perfectly straight 250-foot lines on softer controlled throws and sweeping turnovers on rips, and the latter allows me to get a midrange past 300'. The Zone completes my midrange trifecta, even though it is technically a 'Putt and Approach' disc. For these reasons, my Buzzz stack is reserved just for field practice. However, my brother can absolutely crush his Buzzz, hitting 350 feet and landing where he wants it. Guess I just need to improve my form and get stronger.

In the hand, the Buzzz is just a tiny bit sharp on the bottom lip if you hold it with a firm grip. Some people really love this feel, but I prefer softer rounded edges. Definitely a great disc for starting out and for single-disc rounds, but won't be in my bag in the foreseeable future.

This is one of the best discs I've ever thrown. It is a most for those wooded holes where you have to throw something dead straight. But you can also work this disc very nicely. Im still kinda a beginner and i can throw this disc with little effort. If you don't have one of these in your bag buy one you will thank me later!!!

The Buzzz was the first disc that I purchased when I started playing disc golf nearly 10 years ago, and that same disc is still in my bag. As a stable mid-range, it can handle 300+ ft of power without turning over. After several years, my original Buzzz has beat in to the point that it is dead straight, holding turnover anhyzer lines, as well as hyzer lines with ease. The plastic is durable as aside from some skuffs, is in great shape. It has great glide if thrown nose down and will carry for a long distance. I would highly recommend this to any beginners and I am glad that I started out with this disc so many years ago. I have since purchased a few others and they have all been of the highest quality. Another benefit of buying a Buzzz is that you can get a similar mold in OS (if you desire more stability) or SS (if you need something that will turn over easier). There is a reason this is the best selling disc on the market. Everyone should bag one, in my opinion. The Tour Series specifically looks spectacular, and I really dig the stamp.

This is my go to disc for any wooded tunnel shot 200-300ft. I have two of these in my bag, one ESP which is new and has a more overstable finish but if thrown too hard it will turn over. My other go to is a Nate Doss Ti Buzzz which I can throw on a rope at any power level  with a smooth forward fade at the end!

I would recommend this disc to anyone just getting into the game or someone looking for a straighter Roc3(at least for me).

Don't get me wrong, the Buzzz is a great disc, and it was my favorite disc for a while... until I threw a Fuse. This is a great disc for beginners, but I believe that new players will be able to get more accuracy and distance out of a Fuse. That being said, the Buzzz is a reliable disc that can hold a straight line every time I throw it. In my opinion, the Buzz is one of the top 3 midranges on the market, and you really can't go wrong with this disc if you find it more comfortable than say a Fuse or a Compass. I just happen to find those discs more comfortable in my hand, but that is not a knock on how effective this disc can be. I have the Tour ESP plastic with a bottom stamp and this disc flies straight, and holds up really well when I fly it into the occasional tree. Not to mention that it just looks cool with the bottom stamp! The Buzzz is definitely a disc that everyone should try if they haven't already, it has a good chance a becoming your favorite disc even if it is no longer one of mine.

The Buzzz is one of the most thrown discs in the world, and for good reason. It can be used for any shot in the game from long drives to putts. Very easy disc to throw dead straight 300+ feet, and also easy to shape any type of approach shot with. Everyone should have a Buzzz in their bag.
