I just purchased the ESP Ledgestone Buzzz and it has quickly become my favorite mid-range and earned a spot in my bag. I don't know why I hadn't tried this disc sooner. It is everything I would want in a mid. It holds any line you put it on, but at least new, it reliably finishes every time.

This disc also bombs for a mid. I had been throwing Roc3's and RocX3's for years and loved to beat them in, but I found that getting one to fly straight was always a challenge. Also, I have never successfully been able to forehand a mid, mostly due to not trying and having beaded mids. I haven't mastered it yet, but I will keep working on it!

This is definitely a great mid for every player!

The Buzzz can do it all. I use it often. If I could only have one disc, it would be a max weight ESP Buzzz (and yes, I have used it to putt).

I have been throwing my Buzzz for a month now, going out 3-5 times a week (lots of spare time during quarantine!) As a beginner I feel like I went too heavy with a 177g, as this disc started out overstable for me. My arm speed and form has improved so now I can get a pretty straight flight out of this disc.

The buzzz is one of the most popular midranges in the world for a good reason.  It holds a line about as well as a golf disc can.  Lots of people will say a fairly understable disc would be best for beginners, but I'd say something truly neutral like a buzzz would be the best choice because the flight path will tell you exactly what angle you put it on.  The mold is fairly flat, and might not feel amazing in the hand, but still feels great, and the flight more than makes up for it.

The Buzzz is the midrange I never knew I needed, and it instantly became a staple in my bag. It was surprisingly more stable out of the box than I anticipated but after a few rounds I found it to hold really nice lines. I think it might be the most comfortable mid-range in the hand that I have ever thrown. It can handle a lot of torque with out ever turning over and without being over stable. It is very predictable. Throw a hard hyzer and it will hold a hyzer angle while penetrating forward with a slight left finish. Throw it flat and it will go dead straight with a straight finish. Throw it with slight anhyzer and it will drift to the right slightly and finish straight. It is the best straight mid on the market without requiring to much touch.

Some say that the Buzzz is the GOAT midrange discs. This is absolutely true. It was the 1st disc I ever bought after my 1st beginner disc set.

with a medium speed arm you can through throw absolutely straight.

A great disc for forehand or backhand.

Some dont agree with me but this is my go to disc for holding tight hyzer lines.

Still in my bag after 15 years.

This review is based on ESP Swirly plastic

Very reliable midrange, there is a reason for its popularity. When I was starting out, this was highly recommended as a first disc, and I do not disagree (I ended up getting a DX Shark due to availability at a local sporting goods store; I would say this feels better in hand although that may be due to the premium plastic).  The ESP plastic is beautiful and feels great. I generally throw this disc backhand off the tee on shorter, straight holes.

The Buzzz is the GOAT. I have nothing to say about this disc that hasn't been said already. This was my first mid-range and I have had it in my bag the entire time I've played disc golf. If you don't have a Buzzz, you're slipping!

ESP Signature McBeth Buzzz - this disc is something else. I used to have a Buzzz a loooong time ago and recently got the St. Jude's Sparkle - which flies straight with a strong OS finish but doesn't go the farthest. The ESP Swirl Buzzz is like a laser. It has a ton of HSS and yet hardly fades at the end. It also glides for a long time without feeling "floaty". Haven't really thrown forehands with it (touch forehands feel great) but for backhand it just feels like butter out of the hand.

As everyone else has said, this is one of the best mids of all time for a reason. In any calm wind or tailwind, you can point and shoot this disc. Headwinds can affect the Buzzz more than overstable discs, but it's a workhorse. They come in a huge cariety of plastics and colors so theres one for everyone. The other great thing is the runs of this mold are always so similar that you know what you are getting when you buy a buzzz, just one of the best discs of all time.

Beginners Review: I received this disc as a "Mystery Disc" and I couldn't be happier. Not only is this thing extremely pretty, it flies with the perfect amount of turn and very little fade. I know there are a ton of plastic options for the Buzzz and I am curious how they fly differently. If you are looking for a reliable midrange, this is your disc!

Honestly I got my Swirly ESP Buzzz only because of the honeybee stamp, Disccraft never really spoke to me.

Long story short is it still doesn't but I picked up a backup Swirly ESP because this is the best feeling disc in my bag. After two years I would say this disc has been my most reliable shot. I highly recommend the higher weight, I throw mostly RHFH and the way it sits and can roll out of your hand feels just right.

I'm a big Discraft fan, but surprisingly in the past I didn't have the best opinion of the Buzz. I had better control and distance with Rocs and other midrange discs.

I recently picked up a few other models in Discraft's new swirly ESP blend (drivers) with the four number rating system on them.  This new blend is gummier than the old ESP blend and the discs are more understable.

So I decided to try another Buzz.  In the past I couldn't throw a 180g Buzz as far as a 180g Roc, so I got a 170g Buzz.  This made all the difference.  I can get this new Buzz to go as far as I need, and like the other discs I tried in the new ESP blend, it is less stable, and flies much straighter.  I literally parked the first dozen or so midrange shots right next to the pins on throws from 150 to about 225 feet. I am also able to mold a shot better.  Thrown with a little hyzer it goes left (RHBH) and thrown with a little anhyzer it goes right.  Thrown flat it goes very straight with just a slight fade at the end.

Now it's just a matter of seeing how well this Buzzz breaks in, but off the shelf brand new it's flying just fine!
