The C Line PD is an awesome disc! It is very OS, yet somehow still nets very good distance compared to similar speed and stability discs. I use it mostly on forehand drives. It shoots out straight as an arrow with little to no high speed turn, then ends with a healthy fade and depending on if I get the angle right a good skip too. I dont use it much for backhands, however it can work for utility OS shots. Its a great wind fighter, and overall extremely reliable disc.

So my brother decided to buy a PD with his tournament winnings, but I traded him a Paul McBeth Buzzz for that thing. Best trade of my young life. I can now look at my bag and immediately start craving double flavored lifesavers because it looks like candy. Flies real nice on forehands and actually replaced my Star Destroyer that I used to love so very very much. Me likey this disc very very much.

Definition of a go to driver.. if you can get it in both s line and c line you won't need many more discs for your tee shots. C line has more bite and is more reliable in wind while the s line just bombs!!!

Its a lovely fairway driver. Flies pretty straight when thrown hard but has a consistant finish. Discmania really outdid themselves with C-line plastic in the last few years. It's very pretty, transparent and vibrantly colored. Grip is a bit on the slick side but the run mine came from was sufficiently gummy to make up for that. Flies good both backhand and forehand. May flip up on you if you throw it hard

    One of my newest favorites.

I typically throw FD3's for my forehand drives and this just gives me that little extra skip I need at the end. Love how the plastic feels and put this in my bag as soon as I threw it. Decent driver for people with any strength of forehand.

This is my favorite disc of all time. I bag 3-5. There were a couple of bad runs of PD's from Innova right before the switch so I tried to replace it with Raptors, thunderbird, vultures, Anax's, Teslas, Getaways, and Felons but none of them have out matched the PD. Luckily the new PD from Discmania is butter. My favorite run of PD were old freak and the 10 year anniversary. The new PD is almost identical to the 10 year anniversary run. They are so much better than the Phanton Sword Power Disc from Innova. Buy a PD.

The new C-Line PD from Discmania is a Firebird.

I have been throwing PD's for the better part of 5 years and this is the most stable run of PD's I that I have ever thrown. This run has more dome than most PD's I've thrown.

The new C-Line plastic seems a lot more like Latitude 64 Opto than Innova Champion, which in my opinion is a good thing. Very stiff and beautifully popping color. I was worried I wouldn't be able to see the yellow disc with fall leaves but it is neon yellow and very visible.

I'm not sure where this fits in my bag right now because most PD's throw like longer teebirds for me. I'm going to take my Firebirds out for now until the PD beats in a bit, but that could take a while as Opto throwers know.

Overall if you want a Firebird from Discmania this is it. I'm hoping after a couple of months it will lose some meat hook and fit in that usual PD slot.

The PD helped me to discover a hole in my bag I never knew I had. I find myself very rarely turning to my Felons or Thunderbirds anymore because the PD does it all. My favorite thing about the PD is that as overstable as it is, it ALWAYS pushes forward with great glide. For example, I no longer find myself having to decide whether to go with a Felon for more stability, or a Thunderbird for more distance. I wouldn't recommend the PD for forehand dominant players as highly because the inside rim is a bit shallow (I might suggest a Raptor instead), but as a RHBH player, this disc is PERFECT for accuracy, predictability, and distance. Definitely not for beginners, but for bigger arms, the PD is a must buy.

Not very beginner friendly. Although a lot of people can't throw a disc this overstable anyway. These are great to have in the bag. Awesome utility disc for a beginner to use. Once it gets beat in it becomes more understable and by that time as a player you'll be able to unlock very nice distance with it.

I am a power thrower and I acquired a beat in Innova PD which is the longer fairway driver. This new one has a small difference in feel to the older one but holy cow it filled a versatile spot I needed in the bag. Control and distance. You can turn it over with enough angle but it is an epic disc. I will be grabbing another ASAP for a back up. Discmania is building steam!

This disc has become my new workhorse driver for forehand drives off the tee. With a hard, flat throw this disc will fly decently straight with a slight turn and always fade back. The fade is more forward than a firebird which allows for more controllable distance.

Everything you've heard about this disc is true. It honestly really is a tad bit faster Firebird (which has always been my favorite disc for its versatility). It seems to me like a niche disc because there are only rare times I pull this out over a Firebird because I find they do quite similar things. I have this in c line plastic at 174 grams. I honestly hope though that this disc beats in to the level that pros like Simon Lizotte have it so that I can turn it over and have it fly a little more understable than it is now. For the time being though, this will do. I really only use this for hyzer shots because flat releases and anhyzer angles both result in the disc fighting out and fading very quickly, so I find it's better to just keep it on that angle from the beginning. Since this is that niche sort of disc right out of the box, I give this four stars instead of five. If I can beat this disc in how I want it to, I'll come back and update the rating.

I recently got a Dark Maul 2 and it's a great disc overall. It can take tons of power without turning, but the glide is surprising for a disc that isn't prone to turn. It holds up really well to different lines and always fights back at the end of the flight, even with a good bit of anhyzer.

I've been using it a bit for flex lines or when I need something to fade hard and late. Decent skip when thrown at a low angle as well.

    C-Line PD:

The C-Line PD is a very stiff disc, it has some dome, and a very comfortable rim. The flight of the PD is very overstable and the 4 glide rating on it is pretty spot on. This isn't a disc that I go to for big distance, rather one that I can go to for a consistent finish and a very accurate tight flight.

I have had this mold in C-Line and P-Line. Of course the C-Line was the most stable (resistant to turn) and was good into headwinds. Even a bit of a meathook for me who throws 375. The P-Line was better for me started with a tiny turn which is even now a turnover disc. It's basically like a Valk or Sidewinder now in flight.

The rim is narrower then other ten speeds, so maybe it's a 9 but the edge is sharp too. So 10 is fine. Long and controllable and you can get different flights in different plastics. C-Line should be the most stable while P-Line coan show some turn possibly out of the box.

I play the 10th Anniversary Freak C line edition. This version of the disc is more overstable than the other plastics this disc offers. It will fly straight with a lot of power but tends to fade out earlier than expected. Basically a faster FD3. I have this and the Doom Bird and they compliment each other nicely. This disc can handle all the speed you want to give it. Also a great forehand disc. Flatter than most other PD's. Try this disc in any plastic for hard tunnel shots, straight drives and spike hyzers.

The PD is a very reliable control driver that anyone with good arm speed can take full advantage of. Generally, the mold flies stable to overstable depending on the run. The least stable runs are closer to a Thunderbird while the most stable runs will be as stable as an FD3. The PD will get you close to distance driver distance without sacrificing much control, just as a ten speed disc should do. There many variations of domey to flat runs of both C-Line and S-Line that will fill whatever mold you like for your control drivers as well.

Oh man, talk about one of my all time favorite discs right here.

The C-Line PD is a reliable, low profile control (I consider it control, even though it says it's a 10 speed, I think it flies more like a 9) driver that has a pushing flight that finishes hard every time. When thrown with power, it handles it no problem.

The feel of the PD is extremely comfortable to me. It fits right in my hand for backhands and forehands and excels at both.

Overall, the PD is one of my absolute favorite discs.

    I own 6 c-line PD's and 1 s-line PD. all 175g
Feel: Discmania C line and S line plastics are both really great, but the C line plastic stands out from the pack. It has to be the best feeling grippy but firm C type plastic out there. The mold is on the smaller rimmed side of the driver family and is just enough for me to still feel very comfortable on a backhand powergrip as well as a forehand powergrip.

Flight: Pick a line... any line. This is an slightly overstable disc to start out, but in time you can have all stages of wear and cover alot of shots. Skip shots, Long hyzers, hyzer flip to flat with end of flight fade, s curves, annie to flat, all of that forehand, and forehand rollers. The only line I can think of that really doesn't work with this disc is a backhand roller, but even then I'm sure there are some monsters out there who can throw a backhand roller with a flippy PD.
This disc is the epitome of control. I choose this disc over my higher speed drivers over and over because of how much I can trust this disc to land where I want it to. That being said, you have the arm to throw your max distance drivers 400ft+ to really unlock the full potential of this disc. Under that arm speed it's most likely only going to be a good wind fighter or a hyzer shot disc. I'd recommend a Valkyrie for those of you who aren't at that arm speed yet.

Additional Thoughts:  You can really squeeze some low lines out of this disc and that's where it excels most. I love this disc so much that when my local club did a one disc round, you bet I chose the PD, and though I wouldn't recommend putting with a PD... apparently it can do that too. I ended up shooting the top round for the day, and boy am I glad I picked the PD. Also, it's better than a thunderbird.

This review is 150 gram C Line PD.  I have been playing disc golf for about a year and currently play in the Masters 50+ division.  I am working on improving my for and drive around 300 feet give or take.  I have recently decided I am not quite the studmuffin I thought it was, and have reduced the maximum speed of my discs to 10.  This has actually been a good thing as now I get full flights and land discs where they ought to land (well, at least more than I did).  I have not thrown a full weight PD but even at 150 grams, this bad boy will come back in a 20 mph headwind.  I like to work this disc with a little anhyzer to get as much distance as possible.  I am throwing this disc at 4700 feet which increases its stability.  I really like the fact that even in a 150 class disc, the lack of weight doesn't seem like a big deal.  What is interesting, is that I can get a good flight with it if there is a slight tailwind as well.  I use this and a Fortress as my do-all overstable drivers.  This will not be your farthest throwing driver, but it will definitely be one of your most reliable.  This disc is not flashy or super long, but between the light weight and overstability, I believe this is a good disc for those of us that need stability, but admit that we don't really have the arm speed for a 12 or 13 rated disc.

I've thrown this disc in C-line, Metal Flake C-line and in S-line. They all flew a bit different, so here's my take on them.

    C-line (10 year, freak stamp):

The 10 year edition of the PD is a very overstable run of the PD. It does glide a fair bit so if you throw it hard enough, it will get some distance. However, it dumps hard at the end of it's flight. With some dome to it, it feels like it might be a nice long flyer once it beats in. Might take a while since it's C-line. Also, feels like the rim has more concave to it than the other plastics I've tried. Might just be me.

    Metal Flake C-line:

Not quite as domey as the two other plastics I've thrown. Way grippier than the regular C-line. This disc has a lower LPH, but it's at least as stable as the 10 year run of C-line PD. Maybe because the rim feels flatter? This disc is way more overstable than my go-to 9-10 speed driver which is the C-line FD3. I do however throw this disc when i need to go 100-110m on a slight hyzer line.

    S-line:

My S-line feels like a domier version of my Metal Flake PD. It glides nicely and it not quite as over stable as the other plastics I've thrown. As the S-line beats in it becomes a nice hyzer-flip to flat (slight turn) for those 110-120m tunnelshots.

    Conclusion:

The PD is a really nice disc, especially as a distance driver for anyone who can't yet reach the 120m mark. People tend to disc up a lot, but I'd say this disc is as much as distance driver as it is a control driver.

Even though I bag three of them, I still prefer the FD3 for the types of shots I usually use the PD for.

It's very reliable. It's fairly glidey. It has a nice controllable width to the rim. It's no wonder this disc gets so much love.

The PD is a really nice disc from Discmania. It feels great in hand with the smaller rim size, feels like a firebird, but it seems to glide a little better. In the C-line plastic it is overstable, but not unworkable. I imagine that in some of the other plastics you could do quite a bit with this disc. It fights the wind great, but without being dumpy, its always seems to push forward, giving it great distance potential. The plastic is Innova Champion plastic, and very durable.

There are many molds that try to do what the OLF does, and the PD is my favorite. For my arm speed and playing ability, I have no need to carry an overstable fairway, control driver, and utility driver. I mean, I do anyway, but I can absolutely cover all of these slots with the c-line PD. Mine is a 5th run which means super clear plastic, super domey, and super overstable I like the sharp wing and amount of speed it has compared to the Thunderbird and Orion. It carries more on a hyzer and skips more as well. On an anhyzer, this disc surprisingly keeps going, so nice for flex shots. Other runs and plastics are less stable, which is nice too.

one of my favorite discs in my bag, really a workhorse of a disc. Usually use this disc more for fairway duties as I just cant get distance driver distance out of it. Starts off super stable/overstable, but breaks in nicely to the point where the fade is reduced, but really keeps its low speed stability. Holds dead straight with some degree of fade depending on amount of beat in it is. Perfect for cutting lines through the woods, or hyzering into the basket on open throws

I actually have a c line and a P line in this disc. I am a true intermediate player and the C line is much harder for me to get to go straight as it is very overstable. The P line on the other hand is probably one of the best discs for an intermediate player. I can throw it on flex shot lines as well as hyzers and get good distance. I like both  discs but they are most definitely different. I would say that this is a great disc for intermediate to advanced players.

Have you ever wanted to own a disc and know exactly where it will land before you even throw it? This is that disc. If you are a beginner that can throw about 200 feet and needs that meat hook disc or if you are a touring pro who needs a quality control driver for placement shots or anyone in between, this is it.

Discmania's PD gets a lot of hype and attention. Rightfully so. The disc is outstanding. Its a stable-slightly overstable 10 speed bomber. The PD responds beautifully to big arms and hard rips. The disc has a bit of high speed turn on hard rips and will cruise further than most other speed 10 drivers. The high speed turn on the PD can be hard to see. You have to throw the disc very hard to get any bend out of it.

I grew to like this disc in a hurry and found myself trusting it quickly. Very predictable/accurate and easy to control. I guess the disc I'd most compare the PD to is the Orc. However, I found the PD to penetrate a bit better and shape better flight lines overall.

One thing I will say is that the PD is meant to be thrown hard. If you don't throw 350' the PD won't flex out or do anything special for you.

The PD should be a staple of any Dismania user's bag. Great disc.

Meat hooky out of the box but amazing for wind shots knowing its going to come back. It has saved many strokes in tournaments as well as giving me my first CTP. You can really mash on it and trust the overstability of the disc. Currently working on spike hyzer shots with it but is mostly used for straight then sharp finishing shots.Decent skip.

This is a great disc for someone with a huge arm that is looking for tight flex shots, long straight bombers with dependable fade and touch forearm. Newer players and smaller arms may think this flies very similar to a firebird. A lot of people use this for forehand as well at backhand. Check it out, it crushes and far as you make it go. Newer runs and Metal flake C-line fly similar to the ever so popular 3rd run PD's that Eagle, Simon and many other touring pros throw.

The model of PD I have is the Luster C-Line

The PD is like a slightly less glidey, more consistent Thunderbird with a smidge more fade. I know there's a following out there who scoffs at the idea of comparing the two directly, but I believe the PD wins out in a few reasons. I like the feel of the PD in my hand more than the Thunderbird, I feel like the PD bounces around in wind a little less than the Thunderbird, and I believe the PD is easier to cycle through stages of wear. The small things I'm noticing as I throw these two discs are something I personally notice, but by no means is the Thunderbird a bad disc.

This disc is consistent, consistent, consistent. Once I get an S-Line beat in I believe I will be cycling the Thunderbird out of my bag. The numbers on this disc are very accurate.

Great Disc!  Great feel, Glidey, Overstable, Dependable and great in the wind.  Played a course the other day with a few tight holes with high wind, slight slope to right and water.  Even with the wind and the slope all filtering to the water on the right.  I did not even have to consider turning the disc over into the water.  The disc just provided the confidence needed in those types of conditions.  I am already conflicted as i am going to need several versions of this disc in my bag now and i love my other discs. I'm going to have to boot at least 4 discs out.  C and S line perfect.  Use the S line for a little less stability and more skip. C line for ultimate trust and sticking a little more where it lands.

Picked this disc up a couple days ago to try out and it already has a spot in the bag! For me rhbh it filled that controlled fairway placement shot about 350 feet out there. It flies nice and straight with out any worries of overpowering the disc. I was super impressed by the amount of glide this stable of a disc has. Advanced players need to try it out and trust me you will fall in love with it! Beginners is not reccommened to try back handing it but to use it for long sidearms may work perfect!

The C-Line PD is a great disc, but it is not for beginners. don't even pick up this disc until you can max out your drives over 400ft, or you will be disappointed. Anyways, the disc is really overstable, and is therefore a good disc for windy days. You can put all of your power into it without it flipping too much, and the disc will fade slowly but dependably. I recommend this disc for windy days and times when you need to have an accurate 400ft or so drive. If you want a less overstable PD, pick up an S or P line.

This disc can take the power. I can crank on this disc and I know it will not flip on me. It is very straight for about 275-300 feet for me and then fades perfectly to the left everytime. I will also use this for long controlled hyzers.

The PD was nice and stable out of the box. Almost feels like a bit shorter destroyer. The -C-line plastic feels nice and durable.

I love my C line PD's.  I can always rely on this disc to shoot out straight with minimal to no turn and fade hard at the end.  Even as these discs break in, they have stayed extremely reliable.  I also like to use these discs for distance forehand throws.  Unlike my go to distance drivers, I can rely on this disc to not turn over.  I have one pearly C Line, and one regular C Line.  The Pearly one is a little slick on the grip during really hot rounds.

Stupid crazy overstable.  zero turn.  I call the c-line PD my trick shot disc.  Anytime I need a disc that will hook hard to the right (LHBH) right out of my hand and have a huge skip at the end of flight I reach for the PD.  Like Crom, the PD laughs at the four winds.  I still bag it as a get out of trouble disc, and maybe throw it once or twice a round.

I picked up a C line PD a few weeks ago and man is this thing overstable. I don't claim to have a big arm, I can consistently throw about 350 and my very top end is just shy of 400, but for whatever reason I can barely throw this thing 300 ft. It has been a really good, reliable wind disc, and works great for holes where I know I need to finish left. It's not quite what I expected, but that doesn't mean it isn't a good piece of plastic. If you are looking for a disc that will hold a hyzer and finish hard left every time (RHBH), this is probably it.

My favorite driver by far. It feels extremely comfortable in the hand and the release is super clean. For an overstable driver it flies straight as an arrow, but doesn't lose the dependable fade at the end. Amazing disc.

The C-Line PD is the most overstable version of the Discmania PD. When I first was introduced to a PD, I fell in love with the S-Line PD's. However I don't really use an S-Line PD at higher elevations, and find myself picking up a C-Line.

This disc is so dependable! Long hyzers will go forever when I put a lot of power behind the C-Line PD. I lost the only one I had so I really need to get a few more of these to throw.

The PD can handle a decent amount of headwind, and is awesome in a tailwind.

Discmania fans are really good at keeping up with the "runs" of PD and how each of them fly differently. Any discmaniac can help find the most and least stable runs of PD which is pretty cool. First runs are the most overstable!

Very predictable straight to overstable flight.  I use to throw flex shots, hyzer shots, low straight shots out of the box.  As it beats in it becomes a dart as it has just a touch of high speed turn and low speed fade.  Cline plastic is very durable while still having good grip.
