Basic Information
| Biography: | I started playing disc golf when I was about 17 years old. My old baseball coach ran a sunday league and told me to come out and play sometime. I wanted to make sure I didnt make a fool of myself when I showed up so I started practicing. After a couple months of practice I decided I would take him up pn his offer and show up to leagues. I was very excited to play with these who had a lot of experience. I did not play that well but I noticed that all of the best players there threw backhand. I knew it was time to hit the practice field again. I went out to an open field and threw till I could not throw anymore. I made sure to watch many youtube videos to help with my form. I decided after about 2 months I was ready to go back to leagues. I didnt cash for awhile but when I did I felt very accomplished with what I had done. I got to know some of the other golfers in the area through other leagues and tournaments. I met Chris Sprague and many more of the local pros and knew these were the guys I needed to play with. I was quickly getting better and could not play enough. Just after I turned 19 I joined the military and my time for playing was non existant. I went a little over 4 years without playing. After my third straight deployment I met some other military guys who played and they told me they had a course set up on base. I decided to head over and check it out. I had not played in so long and was very rusty. I picked it back out quickly and 6 months later I won the Hawaii State championship playing Am1. I still have areas of improvement but continue to get better. I hope to get more wins in the future and for my rating to keep going up. | ||||||||||||||||
