Love this disc in s line plastic. Great grip and durability, comfortable in the hand, and flies true to the flight numbers. It can take all of the power you put behind it, and it will fly straight with a reliable finish. Great for controlling your distance and not flipping over on the fairways. The low glide ensures it will drop reliably, but not too quickly. I found the c line pd to be too beefy but that makes it a great option for windy days

The new S-line PD is a very good disc.  It's fast, overstable and torque-resistant.  The S-Line plastic feels ok, I found that it starts off a little on the slick side, but it's gotten more tacky as it has beaten in.  The plastic is pretty stiff and feels durable.  My PD has just a little bit of dome and feels good for both forehand and backhand.  It handles power very well and has pretty good glide for being a moderately overstable disc.  I'm not sure I would give my PD a fade of 3, it feels just a little less overstable than that.  Good disc if you're throwing over 320ft and need something that fights the wind well.

One of my favorite driver molds ever. I do not have a powerful arm (RHBH), but if there is a right to let shot for the 250-350ft range my first thought is can a reach for a PD, which I think is the best review I can give it. If you ever wonder should I throw a fairway or a distance driver just throw a PD.

The one flaw is the unavailability right now. I am excited to see about the new PDs coming out soon.

The PD is a great over stable driver for intermediate players and advanced players. The PD can be thrown flat with trust that it will not flip up and over on you, you can throw it max power get a straight flight and have an overstable finish at the end. I have heard from some friends that they have PD's that are more understable and will have a little flip up to them. The S-line PD I have thrown was very overstable and was not going to flip up at all. I can rely on this disc in the wind and whenever I need a massive spike hyzer. I love throwing this disc on anhyzer going for massive distance knowing it will fight out and finish back left for a right hand backhand. If you are a new player I would stay away from this disc, speed 10 is getting a little on the fast side and this disc will be uber overstable for you. Not the best disc to learn on, but once you understand what this disc is best used for you will love  throwing PD's.

One of my favorite molds. Most s line PD's will start fairly over-stable (true to the numbers) but some of the older penned PD's are dead straight. I've got a couple PD's in the bag right now.

I always have some version of a PD in my bag and use them primarily for forehands and occasional skip shot backhands. The flatter the PD, the better, for forehands but this does typically make them more stable. At first this disc was pretty beefy like a Firebird or a Felon but as it beat in, the initial flight became straighter and straighter.

After 6-12 months of casual use, it flies like a more stable Orc on which I can get a touch of turn followed by a long straight flight that reliably fades. My longest forehand drives can reach 300 and while this can reach that, it typically fades closer to 250ft for me. Extremely reliable in wind and makes a lovely disc for skip shots. I'll get an extra 30ft of skip typically about 45-60 degrees from its initial trajectory.

Not my furthest flying disc but absolutely reliable in any condition and especially useful as a forehand driver and skip shot / finishing flare disc. Will always keep a PD in the bag and the S lines are my go-to.

PD has quickly filled the slot in my bag for controlled distance shots previously occupied by my Thunderbird. I love throwing hard, low, laser beams with this thing. The key with the PD is it will not turn even with full 10 speed power, and will carry fast to your target before a consistent, fading finish. Naturally as an overstable driver it also handles wind well. I have a 175g S-line that is slightly domey for more glide, and a Dark Maul II which is board flat, adding the benefit of less fade on the finish as well as less glide. Extra benefit is the extremely comfortable grip, as the rim is narrower than you would expect on a 10 speed disc, and feels very similar to fairway drivers you may be reaching for on a course that requires control.

    Disc - 175 Discmania S-line PD

Feel - The PD is one of the most comfortable hybrid/control drivers in my opinion. The rim is not very wide and not very deep either. It feels good for both backhand and forehand shots. The S-Line plastic is very comfortable and durable.

Flight - The PD is one of my favorite discs to use on the course. It is great for throwing flat and then getting a nice glide and finish. It does not turn which is very important in my opinion and has a nice finish at the end of the flight. I enjoy this disc for forehands or backhands and flies great for both.

Overall - The PD is one of the most used discs in my bag and would definitely recommend it to many players. I wouldn't recommend it to beginners because the overstability would be too much for them.

When I picked up an S-line PD, it was already a little beat-in, so I'm not 100% how it flies out of the box. But beat in, it's really great. You can dump a on of power into with and expect a slight turn and fade out without ever being afraid it will turn and burn. It's still a reliable headwing disc, feels great in the hand, and is an all around excellent control driver. Highly recommend for a 10-speed slot or overstable control disc.

At the moment, I bag 3 PDs which all fly different.

S-Line. Long, straight flyer. It'll hold a long slow hyzer, flip to flat, or come back on a big flex shot. Extremely predictable, and I'll use it for understable forehands if I need to get out of trouble as well.

Older "Freak" stamp P-Line. My seasoned P-Line is a dead straight to slightly understable flyer. I'll throw it on long anny shots that I still need to come out a little bit at the end, and even backhand rollers.

Dark Maul Glow C-Line. This is the most overstable of the 3 I bag (though I do own C-Line and MFs that are more overstable.) Thrown flat, it doesn't make it too far before it starts hyzering out, but I rarely throw this one flat. I use it a lot more for long, high hyzers, skip shots where I don't want a big Destroyer type skip, and even lower power flex forehands.

Pick up a PD in any plastic and you'll likely be able to find a use for it!

One of my favorite straight shot discs. the sline pd with a little power will flip up and ride straight forever with a reliable fade. throwing it flat out of the hand it will take a small turn still straight and finsh pretty flat.

I've got a decent arm after years of field work and youtube videos i max out in the 400-425 range on a perfect hyzer- flip ( which is a touchy shot for me to be consistent with)  I got the PD in S line plastic and this thing is trying to find the ground as soon as you I let go on a flat release. With that being said when I throw this thing high on an anny flex line I know where it's going to land every single time and i can still get it out to about 380 which is a lot more forgiving and consistent than a hyzer flip for longer holes. Definitely going to use this disc more and more just because of how much I can trust it! Would definitely recommend for anybody with a decent arm. Dudes with cannons could probably find even more use out of it.

The PD is a pretty unique mold in its ability to have very strong high speed stability mixed with a somewhat later fade. PD's rim feels familiar but I think the anhyzer top makes this more comfortable in the hand back hand. My PD's are max weight S-line and moderately domey but I also have a max weight G line.

The PD is borderline a utility disc it is a disc that is meant to be thrown very hard to go very straight, it breaks in a bit to have some flip which makes it more usable than its parent disc the firebird which only progressively fades later. The PD is pretty comfortable to throw forehand which it seems to go straight on. The PD really works best when thrown on flex though as its slight tendancy to turn makes it stretch the distance out. I should note that the G-line PD might as well be a totally different disc as they flip to flat or turn slightly right out of the box which is quite a welcome difference after throwing the S-lines all afternoon.

I think the PD will be a great disc to throw into headwinds while maintaining good distance as it will not drop out of the air like a firebird will. Tailwind potential might be there with a lot of wear or a G-line PD but the discs very average glide will short you some distance.

The PD is maybe okay for a strong hyzer/utility disc for lower power plays but I don't see them making much use out of it distance wise.

Overall I think the PD is a neat disc, it is a bit hard to work in to a bag unless you can throw these things for power the same way something less stable like a Thunderbird or a vulture goes. I still find it much more comfortable than my firebirds and I think its a pretty good disc, 4/5.

Almost as good as its c line counter part. I absolutely love the c line PD and picked up a 168g s line just to try out. This disc can shape some lines. Fresh it had that nice pd finish, not as much as a c line, but it finished left every time. With time Ive beaten this disc into a great straight flyer. I can force it over for anhyzers that hold, baby flexes with tight s curves that magically avoid trees, dead straight shots with almost 0 fade, or sweeping hyzers if I need it. This has been the disc I lean on when in the woods. More dependable than my leopard3, farther and more controllable than my teebird, and able to shape more than any of my firebirds

Love this disc. PDs and wizards make up 2/3 of my bag. Dead straight disc with a dependable OS finish. Best of all, this disc covers all my fairway/ control driver slots via different plastics. C-line for OS shots. S-line of controllable OS. G-line/ beat S-line stable shots. P-line for US shots. Put one (or five) in your bag. Same rim as the Firebird, so super comfortable in the hand and feels no different when need to pull out the FB.

If I had to throw one disc for every shot this would be it.  P-Line for turn overs, s line for straight shots, and c line for over stable.  I've tried the Thunderbird, beast, surge, and even wraith as a distance driver fairway tweener and PD is by far the best.

I found an unmarked PD in the woods. So I'm not sure how much wear and tear it has, it looks pretty good. I really like the PD, for forehand, it is a somewhat overstable and reliable driver with decent glide. Backhand for me it is a bit more overstable, a good wind disc. I think whoever said it's a longer teebird is pretty correct with the flight I get out of it.

I picked this disc up from Infinite on a whim, cause someone recommend it saying it is a farther teebird. I have to say there were 100% accurate, I'm in the process of getting two more to put in my bag. I've only tried them in a line, I'm not a big fan of c line or champion plastic, not that it's not good plastic but I need to be able to make an indent with my thumb to get Max distance with all that being said it is a true point and shoot disc with a reliable fade and skip, it's a great disc to learn how to manage skip, wind does not change the flight path at all but I would say the disc flies more of the 10/4/-.05/3 it has a little turn, the disc first scared me off cause the flight number are the same for the fd3 and the fd3 is a real meat hook, don't look at the flight numbers to determine whether you get a disc or not cause there are several discs that have the exact same flight numbers but fly completely different,

Honestly, the best disc I have ever thrown. Brand new, they are beefy, but that's good! It has room to beat in to something ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Once you get some wear on this disc, it will truly shine. It can pretty much do anything! I love it in the wind, that's where is showed me how awesome it was. Give it a try, but stick with it or wait for a strong headwind day to start beating it in!

The PD is one of my favorite drivers. When I was throwing only Teebirds and Destroyers, I always needed a disc in between. I fell in love with an Orc for a while but eventually ended up with a PD. When I was introduced to the S-Line when the Discmania van rolled through Eugene, OR; I fell in love. I stocked up and this disc has been a go-to of mine since.

Out of the box the S-Line PD is going to be very straight out of the hand with a dependable fade. I like it for longer hyzer shots that a Teebird just isn't going to get to, or for lower, lazerbeam straight shots. I like the PD for distances right around 350 to 400 and I can always trust to get a dependable flight out of the PD. I never find myself blaming the disc for my mistakes, as it flies consistent.

I interchange a Thunderbird and S-PD in and out of my bag. When all shots are required at a certain disc golf course, I will usually keep them both in the bag. The Thunderbird offers a little less glide and a little more fade and will get that extra skip on longer more open courses. I prefer the PD on a more wooded course where there will be tighter lines.

I also like the PD for touch forehand shots, where I need my disc to get a little bit of turn out of the hand. I wouldn't call this a go-to forehand disc because it can't always handle the power of my forehand and can get a little touchy.
