The Discmania PD (Power Driver) is a great addition to any disc golfer's bag. The wide rim, fast flight, and overstability of the disc allows you to set this disc sailing with a fast spin on a steep anhyzer and watch it pull a beautiful s-curve as it soars through the air. As it beats in, this disc will become a straight flying, dependable go-to.

I love this disc in all its plastics. But for this review gstar, feels great in hand, flips to flat, goes far with dependable finish. I also lean hard on this disc for forehand,  its like a longer eagle.

I grabbed up 2 factory 2nd GStar PDs at a great price about a month ago, looking to get something like a Teebird but a bit faster. I could have gone with a Thunderbird but I decided to give the storied PD a try.

I love how GStar feels and flies a bit more understable and more glidey than their C-Line counterparts. If you don't like the feel of a bigger rim, a PD can give you more distance with the same control of something like a Teebird.

For a beginner, this is your workhorse straight to hard fade driver.

More experienced players can put this disc on tight lines and flip it to straight if needed, but can still hold hyzers in most wind. Workhorse driver capability, can probably be cycled well in various stages of wear/plastics.

If you're not using the PD, you're wrong

the Discmania PD (Power Driver) is truly one of the finest discs made. Every player from intermediate on up deserves to have a PD in the bag and that's the truth. Scared off by the "POWER" portion of the PD name? Never fear, as there is a less overstable G Line or P Line PD with your name on it! Currently I bag a C Line (4th run, Avery Jenkins signature series) P Line and G Line to cover all my control driver slots. I ditched my previous lineup of Motion, QOLF and Volt (which in itself had kicked out my previous lineup of Firebird, QOLF and Valk) for all PDs and I couldn't be happier.

First, the grip. The PD, like the QOLF from Milennium, shares a rim with the Innova Firebird. The PDs top is the patented Discmania "Anhyzer" top, which renders the PD much less overstable than its Firebird patriarch. While the Anhyzer Top molds up very consistently in S and P line plastic you may find variances in C Line and G Line. This will effect the flight somewhat, but honestly, if you're not throwing these over 400 feet on flst ground the difference in flight will be highly minimal.

In all plastic types, a fresh PD will be very straight out of the hand with a nice fade at the end that pushes forward as opposed to biting hard into the ground. You will find that the C Line PDs tend to be more overstable right out of the box, and the fade will be more pronounced, where the P Lines will have more glide (an be able to be thrown farther initially) and yet less of a biting fade. Of course, the various plastic lines all wear in differently.  If you are an extremely dedicated player who plays 4 or more times a week, it should take too many months to beat a P Line or even a G Line PD into a nice turnover machine. Put it on a bit of hyzer and watch it flip to flst and carry before turning right and ending in a gentle, flat fade back to the left. If you prefer S Line *aka Star*plastic, it will take quite a bit longer to get your PD into an easy turnover disc, but it can be done in under 12 months  a C Line, even one of the pearly, less OS, 3rd run of PDs,  will take many years of abuse to become the turnover triggers of P or even S Lines.

All in all, the PD is a perfect disc for anyone that isn't a begginer. You are truly missing out if this disc is not in your arsenal.
