The FD is truly one of the great straight-flying fairway drivers. This disc is perfect for straight line shots through low ceiling tree lines. As an accurate, smooth flying disc, the FD is a winner for beginners and pros. While the FD isn’t the fastest flying fairway driver, it does offer excellent glide, allowing it to rival your furthest flying distance drivers.

The Discmania made and Innova made FDs feel and fly similar, if not identical. When adding a review, feel free to comment your opinions on how they differ!

Maybe my fault for buying the baseline plastic but this thing is much more understable than I was expecting. The glide is real but also kind of a detriment when the disc turns over and just keeps going forever and ever. If you're looking for a straight flyer like I was just pony up the extra 7 dollars and try one in premium plastic

I think this is a rather nice compliment to my Champ TL3. I bought the Skullboy FD in Metal Flake C-Line, and I can definitely appreciate the glide from this disc. It is a point and shoot disc just like my TL3, but has much more glide to it. As of now it tends to have more of a fade than I would like, but that's just the plastic. In time I plan to season this disc nicely.

The D line FD is an essential disc in my bag. It holds great lines if thrown with finesse and not overpowered. The d line FD is also a great disc to learn how to hyzer flip a driver with. I recommend the FD in all plastics, but the d line is the most understable. The grip is amazing and the d line plastic is great on wet days.

The D line FD, what a great disc.  I had always thrown roadrunners for my understable disc of choice until I received a D line FD in my mystery box recently.  I went out to the field for some field work and I compared the 2 side by side.  Not only did the D line FD flip quicker but it held that right turn much better.  The D line FD in the hand feels just as you would expect any FD to feel like.  A nice comfortable speed 7 rim, not too shallow, not too deep.  The only down fall to this mold in this plastic is the plastic it self.  Being base line it breaks in really fast.  I only have 2 rounds on the disc and its got a good nic in it already.  Such is life with D line.  Out of the box the best roller disc or understable utility disc I've ever used.

    NOODLE ARM REVIEW
(250+ Move on, this will be painful)

Started with the C-line about 172g, but found that to be somewhat overstable.

Bought the D-line ten grams lighter, and life got better quick!  Straight shots (very gentle fade), will hold most any line you put it on, and (as I found out at a single-disc event) it even makes a good high-winds putter.

If you are looking for a workhorse driver as you get started, you can’t do much better.

My roommate recently got one of these in D-line plastic. Having seen the flight numbers I was curious with the low speed that's normal for a fairway driver and a high glide seemed ideal. That and the negative one turn and one fade seemed perfect for straight shots. I watched her throw it a few times and saw the glide in action. She does not have a strong arm or a developed throwing form. Despite this disadvantage she was gaining considerable distance on her drives do to this disc. One day I asked to borrow it for a few drives and consistently through shallow s-turns straight at the basket with about 60% of my driving power. Mind you these were not overly long tee to basket scenarios normally ranging just shy of 300 feet however with the consistency of the disc flight I managed to land three drives directly in layup position and one was a drop-in putt. This driver I would recommend to players new and experienced.

The D-line FD is very flippy. Much more flippy than the c-line, which I also carry for straight shots. So, what I use the D-line FD for is easy rollers. It's easy to roll and gets me 315 to 350 on a roll. I don't throw a lot of BH rollers, but when I need to roll and finish right I use a d-line FD

Absolutely the best roller disc out of the box!! Throw it flat, on an anny, or just rip it on a hyzer and it will turn over and roll for days!! Best choice for anyone just learning rollers as it takes very little effort. I also let my young son throw it as it is a great disc for someone just learning how to throw.
