The FD is truly one of the great straight-flying fairway drivers. This disc is perfect for straight line shots through low ceiling tree lines. As an accurate, smooth flying disc, the FD is a winner for beginners and pros. While the FD isn’t the fastest flying fairway driver, it does offer excellent glide, allowing it to rival your furthest flying distance drivers.

The Discmania made and Innova made FDs feel and fly similar, if not identical. When adding a review, feel free to comment your opinions on how they differ!

The Discmania FD, this disc truly changed my game when I decided to try it 2 years ago.  Overall the FD in C line, Glow C line, S line and P line are all great.  This run of Luster C line are also just as great.  The 3 that I have are all pretty domey so they pretty much glide for forever.  The grip on the Luster C line is similar to C line but slightly better.  P line still has the best grip in my opinion.  At first I was expecting the Luster C line FD to be more stable, similar to the old 2nd runs but my prediction was wrong.  These fly like fresh C lines.  They flip up, glide straight and then have a soft forward fade at the end without much skip.  These complement my P line FDs perfectly.  In a headwind thrown flat they still turn and burn, but thrown with some hyzer they will stand up, turn over but then finish straight.  If the wind is strong where I don't feel comfortable with the FD then I'll disc up to my luster teebird.  These Luster C line FDs are great straight flying fairway drivers out of the box and as they wear in I'm expecting them to become fantastic hyzerflip fairway drivers just like the normal C lines become.

Brand new disc to the bag. I live in New England and the C-Line Luster plastic is slightly hard to grip in the colder months or when the disc gets wet. This is also a bit more overstable of a plastic than I typically enjoy. Overall I love the disc but I would suggest it in the S-Line plastic.
