Not much to say about this one, Honestly one of the best putters around!

Feel: The Zero Medium Plastic is great for putting, Grippy yet solid enough to trust. The plastic will grip the chains and I find it to be less likely to roll away.

Flight: This disc is straight as an arrow! Fresh out of the box, this disc will fly dead straight at 80% power. Give it a litlle more and I you'll find a great turnover disc. And it will glide for miles. Makes for some fun lines out in the woods.

The Pure has become my go to putting putter. The disc is shallow enough for me to get a clean, consistent release. The zero medium plastic grabs the chains very well. I plan to order a Gold Pure to use as a throwing putter.

I guess I would still be considered a beginner. I have just barely been playing for six months. But i have come a long way in that amount of time. The pure is one of the biggest reasons for that. I was at some point looking for the straightest flying putter I could find. I came across the Pure and tried it out. It is truly the straightest flying disc I have ever seen. At one time I carried about six different putters to hit all the angles I needed to. As time passed and I became more consistent with my throwing ability the pure eventually phased out my other putters. First, it almost throws as long as my mids. Then I realized when practicing it could hold a hyzer line very well. Then I started practicing with it on turnover shots, and wow,  It checked that box as well. Now I use it short and long distance. I use it for hyzer, straight and anhyzer shots. It is very versatile for power and finesse. After all that the most inconsistent part of my game was putting.  I knew Kristin Tattar was putting with the pure. So I decided to try them out for my putting as well. I was amazed. For me it was the biggest difference maker in all my game. Now I don't miss very many putts at all. It putts very straight and flat. It also extended my range extensively. I can't say enough good things about the Pure. Now I still carry six putters...four Pures. Two for only putting. One zero medium Pure(stable to understable). One opto Pure(slightly more overstable). The other two are westside Harps in two different plastics for when I need something really overstable. Highly recommend them as well. Everyone has their own opinions, but for me Pure could be one of the best discs ever made.

This is a great disc! I use it for putting and it is very straight. At low speed it has a little fade but for putts within 30 feet I usually am aiming straight for the pole.  The ZERO Medium plastic has great grip even when it is raining. I would recommend anyone that is looking for a new putting putter to try out this mold!

I got this disc and it quickly became my go to putter, as I really liked the feel, but then I started putting with a Luna and kept this in my bag for up shots.  It is great as an approach disc and is my go to straight flyer.

    2022 Update (4 stars)

I gave this disc another spin and I do think it can work adequately as a US throwing putter; however there are zero scenarios where it is superior to my Proxy. Get a Proxy.

    Original review (3 stars)

I was looking for a throwing putter and got a 173g Pure in Zero Medium plastic.

I've been disappointed and never use it except as an extra practice putter.

I don't know if I chose the wrong plastic - the disc is kinda slow, but then flips on my if I give it too much power. It's also relatively sensitive to wind conditions. The rim is a also a little shallow for me to use my power grip.

I also don't use it on approach shots since it has more turn and fade than similar discs, making it harder for me to just aim and throw.

I also don't use it for putting, It's decent but I prefer the Aviar.

    Zero medium, 173 g

Can't say enough good thinks about the Pure. It has a flat top and bead less profile, and it has the perfect feel in the hand. Pretty good for forehands. as a putting putter neutral and dead straight, especially from c2. Dead straight as a throwing putter. my favorite is a long anhyzer shot at around 225 feet. It doesn't burn into a roller, nor does it fight out. also great for those woods shots you need to go absolutely dead straight

I've been looking for the flattest throwing putter that I can find and this is very close. This is a great disc off the tee for shorter baskets. Its very easy to throw straight or put any angle needed. I've also been using it for some approach shots and putting but not sure this will replace other putters that I've got in my bag. It feels a bit more like a short midrange. I have the zero medium and it feels great. I prefer a medium hard putter for tee shots as they seem to hold lines better than the softer discs. I recommend very highly as a throwing putter.

This was my first disc that I picked up based off of a lot of internet reading on "the best putter". I gotta say it is by far my favorite throwing putter for drives off the tee, 5 stars all the way around off the tee. This thing has corrected any form issues I may have had with my little time I have thrown it.

For approach and putting, I would have to give it 3 stars, and that is just my experience with them. For approach shots I hated this thing and anytime I tried to putt with any of the plastics of Pures, it just didn't click.  It may just be the disc golf gods telling me that it wasn't for me for putting, but dang did mine stand up and roll away from the basket when I missed.

If you are looking for a throwing putter to correct form or even to drive short holes, this is your disc. Outside of that, I don't like it for approach or putting.

After having rebuilt my BH form and only throwing putters the last few months, I have a newfound appreciation for the Pure. I had picked up a Pure when trying out different putting putters and never touched it again after going with another putter. However, once I started throwing it well I was hooked. Such a straight flying disc and incredibly helpful tool to have in my bag. The Pure I'm currently throwing is in Zero plastic and I'm looking forward to swapping it out for an Opto. My hands are on the smaller size, so putters are very touchy for me as some can be quite deep and difficult to find a comfortable grip; the Pure is the second most comfortable putter I've thrown after the Kastaplast Reko. Can't recommend this disc enough.

This disc has been a workhorse in my bag for years now. I cannot speak highly enough about the Pure. My go to putter in Zero Medium, Opto-X Chameleon off the tee as well as the Zero Medium.

I really enjoy the shallow rim and overall feel of this disc.

The hyper-flip is a huge part of my game, and this disc is money for that. I love to have a beat up Zero Medium for throwing off the tee or approach shots and really being able to work the angles of my release to produce different flights.

The Opto-X Pure was exactly what I was hoping for when it got released, A slightly more stable Pure. I was bagging a gold line pure for the longest time until it came out.

I think I've thrown just about all the different plastics that the Pure has been run in, and I just can't get enough. I love these discs and would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

    My Favorite Trilogy Putter

My current putter is an Innova Dart. It's very similar to the pure, but slightly more stable. I really like the pure, it is a super straight putter that feels good in the hand for any type of shot. The 3 speed gives you the ability to make those long approaches and long putts with more ease. I would say that this disc is more glidy than the given numbers, I had to correct myself from my dart.

As far as a driving putter, I would advise caution. The pure becomes rather understable when you put the power behind it. The large amount of glide makes it an excellent stand in for a midrange, but if you are looking for a driving putter I would look elsewhere.

I tried the pure in zero medium and opto. I normally like softer grippier discs, but I must say both of these plastics were AMAZING!

The pure is a very interesting disc. It's quite fast for a putter and get the distance of a midrange with less effort. To me, it feels very good in the hand both backhand and forehand (more on that later).

The Zero Medium plastic is very grippy without being floppy. It has held up fairly well to the tough desert courses that I play, but it as not as durable as premium plastic options.

I use the Zero Medium Pure almost exclusively as a thrower. It's a little faster and less stable than I like for an inside the circle putting putter, but I will use it from time to time for long runs at the basket. The flight for me is slightly understable with almost no fade. I typically throw this on a slighter hyzer to get a shot that slightly drifts right (rhbh). Thrown flat it will turnover and thrown with a decent hyzer it will fly dead straight. Distance control can be tricky as the Pure will fly much further than you would expect with a gentle throw and a little air under it (about 275' for me). I typically try to control distance by limiting the height I throw it on rather than power, but players with more touch should be able to power down well due to the general lack of fade.

The pure also excels as a get out of trouble disc for awkward lies as it does not take much arm speed to get good distance. I also like it for short, touchy anny forehands as it has a nice clean release and will hold the annny angle better than many of my other discs.

The Pure is also a good form checkup disc as it requires clean form to preform well.

This is my go to putter at all times.. straight as an arrow, that is until you break them in, however then they become just lightly under stable which is still a great disc. I bag 4 at all time,  soft and medium plastic seem to work the best for me..  this disc dies glide further than one would think for a putter. Which makes it great for of the pad and mid throws as well..

I love the Pure.  It really is a versatile disc.  For putting it is very straight with hardly any fade.  In the hand, it is a beadless shallow feel.  Very similar to the Aviar3.  I love the feel.  As a thrower, it turns over pretty easily.  Powered down it is point and shoot but if you torque on it too much it will turn and glide or turn and burn.  I think 4.5 stars is most accurate but definitely a 5 for just putting

A really great putter for almost anything you would need a putter to do! It does straight shots and turnovers particularly well and is really great for aggressive runs at the basket when you're too far away to just putt, but too close to lay up. Pure is the most fitting name for this disc for sure, its just fun to throw it and beautiful to watch when you really get the hang of it. My only complaint is that as a guy with pretty big hands, this disc feels too shallow for how I want my putters to fit in the hand. Aside from that, one of my top three favorite throwing putters!

Picked this guy up as a putter for tee shots and longer approaches. While my Warden takes care of putts within 50 feet, the Pure does an excellent job on longer approaches and tee shots. Off the tee, the disc will fly incredibly straight, with little fade at the end. For beginners this is a fantastic disc on approaches, as well as closer putts if you'd like.

    The hype is real.

I settled on the Zero Medium Pure for my putting main after trying the:

    • Aviar
    • Soft Magnet
    • Judge
    • Gauntlet
    • Pilot
    • Colt
    • Shield

I have long, skinny fingers and beadless putters usually don't fit my hands well as a result. Not in this case! The rim perfectly fits my fan grip and the release is consistent. Worth a try even if you prefer beaded putters. Dead straight within the circle and super controllable without.

I have one in the new Hybrid (opaque, grippy Opto) for throwing. It's a bit redundant with my Plasma Envy, which is similar but has better range and stability for driving and upshots. However, I bag both and use the Pure for anhyzer approaches and familiar grip on long putts.

I have this disc in every plastic, and I feel that Zero Medium is the best for putting.  Though I like the ZeroSoft, the Medium has grown on me for how it holds it's shape, doesn't vibrate when released out the hand.  You can push or spin putt this disc.  It is a little fast imo inside the circle so I use the Marshall for closer putts, but I could use just the Pure and be just fine as I'm used to it.  That's why I say it's not beginner friendly because how it's a bit faster than other starter putters.  I typically save the Pure for those putts outside the circle as I can release it with a bit of anhyzer, push putt, and I'm comfortable with how it flexes back, goes straight. and I can sink some far putts with this disc.  So far, this disc is the best I've found for those long putts.  I use it as a driving putter also, but in the Opto plastic and it goes straight with a hyzer release.  I love how it flexes back at the last second and bangs the chains.  You can even release it with a slight anhyzer on a spin putt to hit those lazer beam putts which I love to do sometimes.

I never thought that I would find another disc that I would putt with besides the Aviar until I got this disc. This disc is beadless and feels great in your hand. It flies faster than the Aviar and has a little more glide. I won this disc in a local Trilogy tournament and when I started to play around with it practice putting liked the way it handled wind. It seems to stick in the chains even though it is a harder plastic putter which really impressed me. Great putter all around. I am unable to drive with this disc because when I put power into it it just goes to the right and never comes back.

The Pure from Latitude 64 is the money putter for me. I putt with it and drive with it on the tight tunnel holes to open short holes upto 300ft. Zero Medium putter is my putting putter. For driving, zero medium plastic tends to turn a little more than the Opto plastic; so, when I want those turnover shots I used zero medium. Opto Pure is my main driving putter for tight straight tunnel holes and also turn over shots becuase Opto pure holds whatever line you put it on. I call this disc a mini-buzzz because it flight really straight like Buzzz but slightly shorter in total distance. Don't be surprised if you throw this disc more than 300 ft even for the intermediate to advanced level. This disc is so under-rated. I wish many people throw it.

I used this putter for quite some time before switching to the Sinus and evertually to the Shield.  It feels pretty good in the hand and does have a very straight flight path but to me it seemed to be "touchy". The neutral nature of the disc would often be less forgiving with minor putting errors. If you accidentally flip it just a little it will hold that line and you end up missing the basket to the right. Same thing it you put too much hyzer on it, you'll end up missing left. Maybe I just didn't practice a consistent stroke enough but it just did not work well for me. I would definitely not recommend the Pure for heavy wind days. It is not stable enough and doesn't have enough of a predicatble fade.

GET THIS PUTTER! If your putting style is straight at the basket with very minimal fade, this is your answer. I used to be solely a Yeti Aviar user but I never truly loved it. Swtiched to this, the grip is amazing, the hard plastic is awesome for tee shots and longer puts and the medium just grabs the changes from 45 and in. Highly recommend this to anyone.

I used classic aviar for a year. Due to my dry hand and very stiff plastic I had to spit on my finger to make it more grippy especially when there is dust on it. DX aviar could have been a good choice for me because it has the flex and grippyness I want. However, I thought of trying new mold with relatively low rim depth and rim height. Latitude 64 Zero Medium PURE was the best fit for me. I test drove this disc and putted with it. I love this disc. Very straight flight path with a very minimal fade when you drive this disc on a flat release. Putting was money with this disc because it has a very good feel and straight flight for a push putt. I will order couple more Pure P&A very soon, yeah of course from Infinitediscs.com :)
