The Pure is arguably Latitude 64's straightest flying disc. This is disc is an excellent choice for short putts as well as long approach shots. For a pure, controlled flight, consider the Latitude 64 Pure.

Latitude 64 Retro plastic was designed for players who wanted to be reminded of the old school plastic from disc golf in the 80's. This baseline plastic easily "breaks in" and is very affordable.

I could see someone using one of these as their only disc for a long time and being happy the entire time.

The retro plastic is right in the middle of what I like for both throwing and putting. Great grip for confidence in putting and not too slick to feel like it'd slip out of the hand or not catch well on the chains of the basket. For throwing, it's great for sticking to the hand for a good grip, but won't hold on for any feeling of a misrelease.

I pesonally used the Pure for long range putts as it was so insanely straight even on slow throws like putts. It was straight always. Both full power drives and slow putts, there was almot no movement left to right that wasn't caused by wind.

The profile was great in my opinion, rounded top to the edge of the rim but was blunt edged with a straight lower to the rim. It felt great for resting the finger on when putting, where the top being round made it feel more natural for power grip. It really felt thin enough for comfort in the palm while putting with enough height to feel good to hold onto when driving.

I'd absolutely recommend to anyone from a beginner to someone throwing over 400 feet.

This is definitely the 1st disc I would recommend for a beginner.  If you only own 1 disc, this is the one to own.

I bought this in Opto plastic for approach shots, and it has been great, but I like the feel of it so much that I'm going to start trying out for putting - potentially replacing my EMac Judge.  Hands down this is a great approach disc.  The only other putter I use for approaches is my AviarX3 when I need a strong fade.

Plastics I have used: Retro, Retro Burst, Zero Hard, Zero Soft, Zero Medium, Opto, Opto-X

This was my favorite putter. I would strongly recommend the Zero Hard plastic or Retro in White if you are used to a firmer plastic. Simply point and shoot. The Opto plastic I liked better than OptoX for driving. You do need to "knock the new" off of it to not have it be so slick in the hand. Backhand, forehand, shaping everything possible, this disc is amazing.

The only thing that took me away from the Pure was how much glide it does have, how I spin putt if I miss, I am missing +30ft. I would hesitate to call this a stable putter, on a lot of power this disc won't turn over but in the wind, it is a pushover. When I would putt into any kind of wind, prepare for a lot of math, accounting for every gust.

Overall, this is one of the best putters on the market and still makes for great driving putters. When you get this disc, you should get a bright color. You are going to want to throw this and throw this far.

#1 recommendation for a single disc to own

Scene: 125 feet out. Trees to right and left. Low ceiling shot. Hazard / OB / Downhill behind the basket. Pull out your pure. Imagine laying a big ruler on the ground and being told you cannot deviate from this line. No problem. Pull out your pure. It's the straightest disc I've ever thrown. Point and shoot. That being said, I do not use this as a putter, strictly as an approach disc for straight shots. I prefer my putters to have reliable fade, and this does not give me that. However, for upshots, any line that you put this thing on, it will hold it. Enjoy disc golf made simple. Point and shoot.

The retro line is slightly more stable then the original Pure. However this disc makes for easy straight putts up to about 40 feet and can be thrown very straight up to about 250 feet. If youre looking for a straight flying disc for short, straight holes, this disc is for you. If you are looking for an accurate smooth, straight putter, this disc is for you

The Pure is one of my favorite putters. I've tried a ton and have been playing for around a year now. I've tried everything from the Aviar to the Wizard and this has been one of my favorites. I only decided to purchase it after Infinite Discs released their list of most popular putters and it was on the list. I totally understand why.

You want to talk about straight? This is about as straight as you can get for a disc. It has the nicest glide and is just a joy to throw. I own 3 of these (2 retro's and 1 opto) and will be picking up a couple more retros and a zero medium (to try out). This disc almost got me my first ace (almost pinned the basket). As others have noted, it'll hold a hyzer/anhyzer line throughout the duration of its flight. If you chuck the crap out of this, it will have a tendency to flip over (and this is coming for a semi-new player) so just be gentle with it and it'll go far.

I highly recommend this disc to beginners.
