The Berg is unparalleled: A low glide putter that flies true every time, and will not outdrive the basket. Its aptitude lies in precise landings and eliminating the need for distance control. A distinctive attribute of this disc is its thumbtrack, with a lowered flight plate that almost hugs your hand. Remarkably versatile for both forehands and backhands, the Berg fearlessly accommodates the full extent of your power, steadfast against turnover, and adeptly managing even the most delicate approaches you encounter.

The king of approach discs; although, I will admit it is not for everyone. The Berg is unique in a couple of different ways. The disc fits great in my hand, but if you don't like thumb tracks, you may have an issue with this disc. I can comfortably power and fan grip the berg and find that I get a consistently clean release when throwing it. The disc also feels comfortable in a forehand grip.

The flight of the disc is where things get really weird. When you throw it at low power, the flight numbers are very accurate; however, when thrown at full power, the Berg likes to go straight (no matter how much hyzer you put on it). I have never had a problem with the disc turning over on me on a flat or hyzer release, and I have never seen a disc ignore the fact that it is on hyzer and continue to push forward like the Berg.

I really love this disc because I can trust that it won't go too far if I really lay into it. They also don't have much in the way of ground play. I can't imagine the disc leaving my bag, and I am always happy to throw it when appropriate.

This disc is insane when it comes to approaches into nasty greens (fast, hills, etc.). You want something that goes straight and stops quickly? Give this a throw. How about something that you throw on a slight angle and it seems to hold that angle forever? Checkmark again! Want to throw a floaty forehand flick where "certain death" is behind the basket? This is the disc to take that shot. I would not suggest trying to bomb on this disc, but you can probably max 200 ft with good technique and average arm speed. I haven't tried to roll it yet... yet.
