The Berg is unparalleled: A low glide putter that flies true every time, and will not outdrive the basket. Its aptitude lies in precise landings and eliminating the need for distance control. A distinctive attribute of this disc is its thumbtrack, with a lowered flight plate that almost hugs your hand. Remarkably versatile for both forehands and backhands, the Berg fearlessly accommodates the full extent of your power, steadfast against turnover, and adeptly managing even the most delicate approaches you encounter.

This disc is the ultimate putter. straight as an arrow, drops like a rock. im still new (first year playing seriously other than when i was a young teen) and the Berg def took me a few weeks to get totally used to, but now the Berg and BergX are the only two putters i carry. my buddy has a K1 that's more of a rubbery feel to it that i'm not a fan of, but the K3 Hard plastic throws like a dream. highly recommend to all players

Been hearing/reading about the berg for awhile now. Not sure why I stayed away for so long, other than price, but I did. What a mistake that was! I snagged a k3 hard x out for a good price. This is the end-all, be-all of straight approach discs. It's a cheat code; you don't need much speed or angle control at all. While that isn't great for developing form or good habits, it is great for saving strokes. You're not going to overthrow the basket, and you're not going to get too much left-right action. K3 hard plastic also likes to sit where it lands. What more could you want out of a straight approach disc?! I'll probably pick up a couple other plastic blends here and there as I see good prices pop up, since the k3 hard does look like it beats up kinda quickly (but it does feel and perform great).

This is my favorite putting putter 25 feet and in.  Any more than 25 feet and I move to a P1 from Discmania.  I only putt with K3 hard, it feels the best and stays straight.  I had a soft k1 and its nice for approaching.

I really struggle with putter throws. I never learned to throw a fan-grip shot, and if I power grip a putter, I turn it over most of the time. Rather than improve myself, I found the Berg, which is somehow torque-resistant while still flying with whatever line you put it on. It's pretty darn cool.

K3 plastic feels similar to gateway disc's eraser plastic, with a little more stiffness which i love. It's reknown for it's odd puddle top which again is in my taste, i love Discrafts soft GT Bangers (also similar in grip texture to K3) and this is what i've replace those with. This is my new go to approach disc for when i NEED a throw to stop as soon as it lands.

Avoided this disc for a while because I thought it was all hype, but after picking one up it is great for short approaches and allows me to have confidence to not throw long on approaches. It quickly became a must use disc in my bag.
