    Disc: 171g GStar Shryke

Feel: Very Cool feel in the hand, enormous rim, and a very "machined" dome. I would often just carry this around because it felt so cool. The rim, as I said, is enormous, and if you can get your mitts around it, more power to you.

Flight: Just send it. I was the first distance driver I got and the first time I tasted real distance. Stupid Easy Distance. I found out very quickly that this was not a disc for in the wind and unless you were able to spin it fast enough it dove out of the sky. It was a great teaching tool on angles. The Shryke was REALLY touchy to any angle and would show me exactly how I was throwing wrong. Not quite a "hyzer flip" disc as it held the angle.

Conclusion: I personally found that the only time that I brought this out of the bag was for no or tailwind shots in a clear open field. Rarely did I go to courses that had that, and as a result, I had other discs that I had thrown more, were more "shapeable" and felt more confident with, that I didn't have a reason to carry it. I have a 167 G Star and this has settled in to be my out right farthest distance driver for straight shots where there is not much in the way.  This disc is pretty forgiving and will go a decent distance even without a ton of arm speed or if you through it a little off.  Love the G Star for the grip.  Numbers seem to be right on for me. Just bought a couple more to have in the bag. It is okay in the wind, but I will usually reach for something else in a headwind.

I really like this disc.  I am a recreational player and the speed would suggest I can't throw this disc but I think it plays to a little slower speed and the understable glide and turn make it easier for a recreational player like myself to throw.  I do need fairly open fairways to pull this out of the bag other wise I will go to my Thunderbird which I get 30 feet less distance but I have more control.  Be careful with this disc in the wind as the high glide can get caught in the wind and you never know where the disc will end up.  With little wind and an open fairway and more than 300ft to go I use this disc.  For me my maximum distance is 340ft but I typically get 325ft with it.
