I love this disc! I bag this and a halo shryke because this one (on nice weather days) gives me just a little bit more turn and a little more distance. I mostly forehand it because of the higher speed but this disc will NOT disappoint!

Discs - 173 Innova Color Glow Champion Shryke, 171 Innova Champion Shryke

Feel - The Shryke feels fairly similar to a destroyer in the hand in my opinion. The rim is very similar and most that I have felt are a little bit domey. If other 12-13 speed drivers feel good in your hand then the Shryke most likely will as well. It feels good for both backhand and forehand shots. Color Glow champ plastic is a bit more stiff than regular champion and still has very good durability and grip. Champion plastic is very durable but the grip can be a bit iffy when the weather is not ideal.

Flight - The Shryke flies like a nicely seasoned destroyer. It has a great amount of glide and a good amount of turn but the fade is fairly minimal. I use this disc for long turnover shots or max distance bombs. I usually don't put this disc in the bag for most of the courses that I play because most of the holes are only around 400 feet and usually are fairly tightly wooded so I use a lot of fairway drivers and fewer distance drivers. The color glow shryke is considerably more overstable than the regular champion one as it will hyzer flip but doesn't turn much after that.

Overall - The Shryke is a really good disc for someone who can't quite get a destroyer up to speed and wants to add a max distance disc to their bag. It is so glidey that it is useful for most players. It's not great for beginners solely because it's a distance driver and I think that it is much more important to learn with mids putters and slow fairways when you are starting out.

This is my absolute favorite driver for max distance. I have a 170 and 175 of this disc in my bag and they absolutely bomb!  Optimal for insane distance with no wind or a tailwind. Not a reliable choice for a headwind considering its understability.  But this disc in a tailwind gives me 100' more than normal and glides forever!
