The Polecat is one of the straightest flying golf discs available. This isn’t a fast disc (speed rating of 1), but it will stay on the course better than almost any other disc. This is a tall putter (2.3 cm) with a deep rim. The feel of the putter is comparable to a small frisbee made for playing a game of pass, and this feel is preferable for some players who are transitioning to disc golf.

This is Innova's lid putter, designed to be straight-flying and beginner-friendly. It fulfills those intentions very well, and also holds up surprisingly well as a putting putter. The rim is not beaded and easy to grip, so it lends itself well to putting. It does have a bit more fade than advertised, it seems to me, as it does tend to fade left noticeably more than Discraft's comparable Rattler or even a Magnet. It also does not have very much glide, allowing the disc to be a solid choice for straight approach shots. It sits down right where it lands, consistently.
