The Polecat is one of the straightest flying golf discs available. This isn’t a fast disc (speed rating of 1), but it will stay on the course better than almost any other disc. This is a tall putter (2.3 cm) with a deep rim. The feel of the putter is comparable to a small frisbee made for playing a game of pass, and this feel is preferable for some players who are transitioning to disc golf.

R-Pro Polecat (175g) - I bought this because I wanted to try some of the older, stranger molds of discs to see if I was missing anything. This is a pretty unique disc in my opinion, unique but maybe not helpful for your game. Innova mentions that this could be a helpful disc for people transitioning from ultimate or learning disc golf; I would tend to agree but suggest that it feels very different than an ultimate disc even with the tall rim. I think the Sonic is probably a better "transition" disc. The Polecat is just sort of its own thing and what it is is a very slow disc. I can't see this being useful off the tee for any reason. It sort of glides, but not like an ultimate disc. It is sort of neutral, but pretty understable with any power. Its kind of right on the edge of being useful for most players, but not so much that other discs can't replace it. I keep one of these around though, because many people that I've introduced to the sport have benefited from this type of disc to start with rather than the terrible Teebird starter pack disc that won't go 50ft without fading hard left.

Very similar to the Discraft Putt'r. Great for the beginner player/those used to throwing frisbees. Decent glide for a putter, but an even better putter in windy conditions. If you can get over the feel of the disc this may just keep that spot in your bag.
