This was the first higher speed disc I was able to get some real distance past my fairway drivers.  It can give a good S-curve even with a lower arm speed and then becomes a solid understable disc when you build up arm speed.

I just played my first round with this disc and I love it. I went ahead and got a lighter plastic so I could throw it further since I don't throw it very far. This disc is super nice because of how easy it is to turn over and for someone who doesn't throw it very far can easily turn this over for rollers, anhyzers, and even hyzer-flip shots. Overall I think that it's a great disc and love the extra distance I am getting off the tee.

Just added this to my bag based on the numbers. Learning as I go. I haven't been able to get distance from any disc rated above a 12, but I really like the feel of the Mamba, feels great in my hand, and so far it's going where I throw it. I think it's because of the thinner rim? Not sure. I don't have a great arm anymore so I'm hoping this gives me a bit more distance on drives.

I carry this disc in a Star plastic at 162 grams. This was my first long distance driver. It is very beginner friendly. The 11 speed was just about at my the end of my range and the 6-glide was perfect for me to get good distances. But I think it was the turn of -5 that really helped me get some very nice flights which got me very excited about throwing long distance drivers. This was the first disc I really got a nice "S-Shaped" flight from and when you start throwing those types of throws, it is very exciting. The more experience I've gained I have realized that my Star Mamba is an important part of my bag.
