I have a color glow champion Eagle. Compared to the teebird and teebird3, it starts more overstable. Out of the box, it has the stability of a Sexton firebird but will season to the point of having some turn. If you need more stability than a teebird, like when throwing into a head wind this is a good disc to reach for.

Like many eagle throwers, I saw Calvin do it and had to try it. Obviously he's on a whole other level than all of us. That being said, if you have 400+ feet of destroyer golf distance, you can unlock some of the calvin magic with these. If you have the 350 feet of power, the eagle might act more like a baby firebird.

I have two color glow eagles (early 2023 baseline color glow run, not a barsby eagle). They are my main fairway drivers and if I can sensible throw an eagle on a hole, I do. The color glow's break in to that -1 turn within 10 rounds or so and then sit in an awesome spot. Based on my rangefinder, I throw these out to about 375 on an open golf line. 330-350 on a tighter wooded line. What I've noticed is that if you give them height, they have more of a baby destroyer flight path (more right and left movement). If you throw them low, flat (actually just a touch of hyzer once they break in) and hard - you get the rope line you see calvin throw often. Super cool to have both options in the same disc.

I think everyone who is an intermediate moving into fairways should buy both a champion teebird and a champion eagle (or color glow!) and spend several rounds and field sessions with each. They both are awesome, but people just gravitate to one or the other. For me it's the eagle. My pale orange color glow eagle is easily a top 3 favorite disc in my bag.

As a forehand guy, I would definitely recommend the Eagle to anyone over the Teebird. It is just a touch bit more overstable, but it feels so much better in the hand to me. Giving it just a little anhyzer gets a great flight out of the disc, and I always know it is going to come back.

Probably my favorite off the tee disc at the moment. This thing really couldn't be any better. The glow plastic feels amazing! I really tend to prefer glow plastic on most of my fairway drivers because it feels perfect in my hand and tends to hold it stability longer. It feels kind fo gummy in the hand, but is definitely more firm than Gstar but slightly less firm than star. I also really appreciate that glow plastics tend to be flatter than other plastics for whatever reason. I like flatter fairways so this thing really fits the bill. If you like domier disc then I would recommend grabbing these in champion plastic. All the champion version I have owned have been pretty domey. The champ plastic is also less stable in my opinion. If you want to get the 7 4 -1 3 flight out of it, you have to put a bit of hyzer on it.

Its flight is just as the number state. I would say that the turn maybe starts out at -0.5 for the glow plastic, but it will definitely slowly beat in to -1. The champion is a little less stable. It starts at -1 turn and will reach -2 after hitting too many trees. This disc also has really good glide. Just when I think its about to drop it manages to carry for another 40 feet or so, but it still feels very predictable. Its fade is always reliable and I have never worried about this thing turning over more than I would like for the glow versions. I throw it very often both FH and BH whenever I want a good bit of distance with accurate placement. It works very well on longer, slightly wooded holes, where you need a good 300+ feet of distance and need a reliable finish.

Get this disc you won't regret it. I have never really been a Teebird guy, and this has been my workhorse OS fairway. It fits in very nicely between a firebird type mold and something straighter like a Teebird.

The Eagle mold is where my love for disc golf began. I threw a red DX Eagle for years until Champion came out, and then Star.... I just recently re-bagged an Eagle for nostalgia's sake. I love it! This Champion Color Glow from the Santa Cruz Masters is nice and gummy, but with some firmness in the rim. A great mold in a great plastic!
