The R-Pro Aviar offers a soft, flexible feel with excellent grip in all weather conditions, making it a favorite for players who prefer a tackier putter. Slightly more understable than firmer blends, the Innova R-Pro Aviar is well-suited for touch putting, short approaches, and situations where minimal ground play is a priority.

The R Pro Aviar is my all time favorite disc for approach shots from the fairway. I don't have the arm speed to throw a driver 350 ft so most of my second shots from the fairway are 150 ft or less. This is my go to disc in those situations. It feels great in the hand and when it lands it does'nt skip away but because of it's soft texture it kinda grabs the ground and rolls in a tight circle and stays put!! Once you get your distance dialed in this disc is money!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

New plastic is not as good.

DX was grippy and durable, but now it's durable and not grippy,   and flies the same,  buy DX instead.

Sad,  was one of my favorites

R Pro Grippy and on Target - Almost as good as Omega SS

    165g RHBH ( 3 3 0 0 ) - light and easy to smash chain at 100 feet. sticks in the basket

    175g RHBH ( 3 3 0 2 ) - can hold a line in the wind and stick to the Chains.

Okay. Have you ever held an unpopular opinion on something completely subjective? I have, and it's about this disc. No clever, relatable analogy here. Perhaps its more so about how Innova milks all of the potential completely dry until the water hole is poisoned with the oil that made it rich in the first place. There is no need for so many varieties of Aviars. I don't care how many dorks win putting competitions, or if some dude on JomezPro jump putted one 'from like a football field away, bro'. It's an average putter. I have one in case I lose my other putters. Sidenote, it is hard to lose putters. I don't have a beef with the mold itself, or the company that makes it. There is just no reason to market so many under different labels when they all fly the same. Yes, they do. Innova Aviar, the Fast and Furious of disc golf putters. Innova would be better suited renaming the link on their website 'Now That's What I call Aviar' and numbering the editions. The same thing, changed slightly enough for those gullible enough to dip into their pockets time and time again.

PROS: Warm thoughts of the aviar, a melatonin, and lukewarm milk all help to give me a great nights sleep.

    CONS: I can't be bothered.

Grippy and straight as an arrow. Grabs sweaty hands and the chains. One of my three favorite true putters. The others are the discraft roach and the dynamic disc judge. All three are gems.

This is my absolute favorite disc. I am not that good at disc golf but after a short period of time 20 foot putts with the r-pro became well within my range, and with that disc i am getting solid runs from much farther out. I also bag a star aviar3 and a luna (all max weights). You can't go wrong with any of them but nothing in my limited experience compares to the feel of the r-pro aviar

Very soft in r pro plastic. I don't like something this soft for putting but it's wonderful on straight or hyzer approach shots. Because of the softness it tends to just sit where it lands with little kick or roll away. Was my go to approach disc until I left it on the course. Have been using the DD slammer instead but may buy another r pro aviar for a less overstable option.

I've tried a bunch of different putting putters, but I always come back to the standard.  The hand feels isn't perfect, nor is the flight, but those are probably just problems with me.  It's the best I've found yet.

Awesome putter, I've got it in 175 R-Pro and everything is great about it, the grip, the flex, the rim, and the flight.  It is very reliable and the sloped rim allows my fore finger to rest comfortably giving me a confident hold without any shifting prior to the putt.  It is good at lobbing or at spinning, there's no wonder that it is so popular!

I found a brand new 175 McPro Aviar laying in the kids pool at a local course and was very happy to have a new putter.  Of course the Aviar is the most popular putter in the world, and for good reason.  It holds a line, it has great glide for those longer putts, and feels solid in the hand.  The only thing I don't like is that the Pro plastic is so hard that it can be more prone to rolling away on a bad putt.

Love this disc. Not intended to be long range disc, but compared to the length I get on my drivers (which is still pretty modest), I can get pretty impressive distance out of this thing with accuracy. Very good feel. It has the ability to catch chains without feeling like you're holding a rubber band.

I love the Aviar R-Pro. I used a Birdie for years and I just happened to find a Aviar R-Pro in a creek in excellent condition. I decided to give a try and I've never looked back. If you're looking for a great putter that loves to find the chains, look no further.

I have a r-pro avair. And oh my god is it soft. It is wonderful for short throws. But if you have to put some power on it, it becomes unreliable.

Eh. This disc is decent. Its fine, but if you're looking for an excellent putter, this one isn't it. Go with a MVP Anode or an Innova Rhyno.
