The Sphinx is an incredible understable fairway driver. Right out of the box it gets effortless flip to turn s-line distance. It flies exactly like my favorite beat-in Valkyrie without needing the time to season it. Players with a little extra gas will have no issue throwing massive rollers with this bad boy, while newer players can lean into the understability and glide to get some sneaky distance.

The Sphinx is another disc that I don't throw super often but when I do I am glad I have it.  This understable fairway will hyzer flip, drift right, and glide for days if you have a higher speed.  If you have a slower arm speed this will be a great disc to maximum distance s-turns.  This disc is also a great roller disc if you have a higher arm speed.

I bag two Sphinx, and I-Blend and a C-Blend, and both have served me very well. No matter how poorly a round is going, I know that I can get a consistent flight out of my Sphinx's.

I do not get a ton of turn with this disc, so I consider it to be just slightly understable. It's likely that as I get some more arm speed it will turn into a flippier disc.

I have 2 Sphinx's in my bag, an I-blend and a Metal Flake Glow C-Blend.

I bought the I-blend first and it quickly became the furthest driver in my bag. I threw around 300 at the time and could get it to flip up from hyzer and turn over slightly before finishing back. Extremely good beginner disc, I would say its like a more consistent Valkarie for me.

The Metal Flake Glow C-Blend is currently my go to disc for anything that's too far for a mid range. I consistently throw this disc 370, I put it on slight hyzer and it flips up and rides dead straight the entire flight. It is the most trusted disc in my bag, for slower arms this disc should ride flat for most of its flight with a slight fade.

The I-blend is definitely true to its numbers, but the C-Blend flies like a turn -1 fade 1 IMO

    I have two sphinx's

    152: I-blend

    163: Metal Flake Glow C-Blend

The C blend came out more stable so make sure youre checking the pictures. They're rated at a 9.6.-1.2. This is awesome because it takes the spot in my bag that an undertaker would fill. Flys like a broken in Undertaker.

I-Blend is my super understable to roller disc. This thing will go around corners like no disc i've ever seen.

Both discs are comfy in the hand and good grippy plastic.

Big fan of this disc. It was my farthest flier as I was starting to learn to thrown. I still keep it in my bag now to throw big turn over shots, and I'm sure if a course ever called for it I could use it as a roller. Get this disc, If your new it will never need to leave your bag.

I have been playing Disc Golf seriously for about a year and a half now and this was one of two of the first discs I ever bought on this website and from Infinite and it is a very easy disc to throw and it goes really far. Infinite really hit the nail on the head with the Sphinx, it is very beginner friendly and does feel like a cross-over of distance and control driver. I couldn't recommend it more, GET THIS DISC!

I have 175g Sphinxes in I-Blend, S-Blend, and Metal Flake Color Glow. It's one of the most-thrown molds in my bag, with the Glow Metal Flake being the most stable and the one I reach for most often. It flies great for long, straight backhands and handles flat-thrown forehands much better than its numbers might suggest. The I-Blend is my oldest and flippiest one and comes out for rollers and tailwind shots, both of which it does very well. The S-Blend is the newest and due to COVID-19 has only been thrown a few times but it so far falls nicely between the other two. 10/10 disc!

I'm an intermediate level player and this disc is my "go to" driver, it feels great in my hand and with my arm speed (350'-400') it is very predictable and easy to manipulate. If released on flat it flies true to it's flight ratings, if I rip it on hyzer it flips to flat and goes the distance, and lastly; if I put it on an anhyzer it will hold it's line the whole way and gently fade to a smooth finish.

I got a Worlds MF C-glow version of this disc.  This disc surprised me. I think this MF C-glow plastic is definitely a more stable version of this disc.  I love the plastic as it is very gummy.  I can get some great distance out of this disc, even standing up to some of my higher speed drivers.  On an slight to moderate anhyzer release it holds the line well without turning into a roller.  On a flat release i get a decent amount of turn if I really rip it, but it fades at the end..  If I power down to 70% its very flat with controlled fade.  On a hyzer release this flips to flat and fades out.

If you are an intermediate and find yourself not quite ready to throw big overstable high speed drivers, this disc is for you.  Its the older cousin to the Leopard (not the starter pack version).

This is my favorite driver. I picked up the 2019 worlds stamped metal flake glow c blend sphinx and it hasn't left my bag in close to a year, and I tend to switch out discs way too often, since infinite makes it so easy to buy and try new discs constantly. This is a great hyzer flip disc, and in the metal flake plastic it doesn't flip too fast or burn out. Once it flips up, the glide kicks in and it just seems to soar forever. The 9 speed rim is very comfortable in my hand, and this disc is my go-to for just about any technical shot where I want to hit a specific gap.

The Metal Flake Color Glow Sphinx is a great disc. I use this for any shot outside of my range with an FD where headwind isn't an issue. When thrown with a bit of anhyzer this disc will hold the anny to the ground with a gentle panning landing. When thrown flat, this disc will turn right before fading at the very end of the flight if given enough height. My favorite throws with this are hyzer flips that flip up to flat, drift right and then fade about equally to the drift at the end of the fight. With a mild hyzer, you can just point and shoot right at the basket. Add a bit more hyzer and the disc will flip up to flat and go straight for days. I can get really great distance (for me) with this disc on a solid pull. The Metal Flake Plastic Glow s probably my favorite driver plastic I've thrown - grippy, durable, and pretty. The Metal Flake Glow is a bit more stable than the I-Blend I've thrown.

Note: I play at elevation (~4500'), so YMMV.

I cannot say enough good things about this disc! I got this disc about a two months ago and it is now my go-to disc. It will never ever leave my bag! The amount of glide is unreal, and the Sphinx holds any line you put on it. I highly recommend this disc for any level of player - it might seem slightly overstable for newer players, but the glide will help give a newer player a bit of extra distance. Players with a decent snap in their throw will find it a highly controllable fairway driver. Try it! You won't be disappointed :)

Feel: In the hand this is very comfy. Easy to grip, not to shallow but not too deep. The Glow C-Blend is nice and grippy. Perfect amount of flex and grip.

Flight: This was a fun disc to hyzer flip. It pops up and flies a good distance before LS fade. Adjust the downward angle up a little and you'll get some turn and get to see the incredible about of glide this disc provides. So much glide. It is easy to throw far.

Lastly, put it on an anhyzer line with decent height and it will turn and turn and turn for a great distance.

Want to start by saying that I have been throwing the G-Blend Sphinx for 6-7 months and it is by far my favorite woods disc. Can shape lines for days and throw it about 350 avg dead straight. I mean dead straight.

The MF Glow C-Blend,  however, came out slightly overstable. In fact... if you thought the G or I-Blend came out too understable for your arm... seriously consider trying a max weight MF.

I can still get these to fly 350 with easy power but they don't like to turn. They just fly straight forever and always end with a forward pushing fade. I would put its flight numbers at 9s 6g 0/.5t 2f.

The great thing about this is that the Sphinx now covers a wider range of shots. It covers all my FD lines except my heavy meat hook FDs.

In my opinion, the Sphinx is the best FD on the market.

I love this disc, especially in C-blend. The grip is incredible...it's squishy yet still fairly rigid. I thought it might be a little fragile, but after a head-on collision with an oak...and I mean HARD...I couldn't find a blemish. This thing is perfect for pinching and whipping 300-400 feet, but it's also controllable enough for me to throw 200+ feet, so much so that I'm getting rid of my Leopards (my favorite disc up until now).

Also, on my first round with this Sphinx, I parked it 10-feet from a low-ceiling basket that was previously unreachable. It just kept floating like a drone. This surprised me. With such a low profile, I was expecting 5-glide, max.

Right now, I'd say the flight numbers are more like 10/6/-1.5/1, but that likely has more to do with my throwing style (less force, more control/finesse). Some seasoning will change the numbers, obviously, but at this point, it's THE driver (with distance AND control) that lands where I want, better than any disc near its rim size.

This is a flat out amazing disc. Very controllable and glides for days. I've leaned on valkyries and then escapes for the entirety of my time in the game and this disc is exactly what I was looking for in that slot. The color glow plastic feels amazing as well!

Wow. Just wow. The glow Sphinx had made my bag from first flight If you've thrown the I-blend sphinx and looking for a more stable/consistent flyer, this is your disc. It is just so useful for so many types of shots... dead straight, hyzerflips, panning hyzers and anhyzers, power rollers, tailwind distance shots... it almost does it all. People try to beat in their fairway drivers to get to a certain level of stability that you can work with, but why even bother when you can just buy a glow Sphinx. Someone could easily pair this with an Exodus and Scepter and just call it a day.

Holy Glide! I think this disc just became my absolute new favorite. 8-9 Speed feel in the hand with a smaller rim, and 11-12 speed distance and glide. I can put this disc on any line and it will hold for the entire flight. On Hyzer, it will flip up to flat with enough power, or just hold the hyzer if powered down, but won't dump. Flat shots will ride straight with a comfortable turn before fading back straight. Anhyzers or turnovers will do just that, keep on turning until they finish the flight. I won't give distances because everyone has different power, but for me, a high AM2/Low AM1 player with about 300' of consistent distance, this is how the MF Sphinx is performing for me currently.

Go buy one, seriously. You won't be disappointed.
