The Maverick has a spot in nearly every player’s bag. The Maverick's smaller rim offers controllable fairway speed and straighter flights for slower arms, with trustworthy anhyzers and slow turns for experienced players. The Maverick is great in the woods with low ceilings and tunnel shots.

My Maverick is one of the MVP's in my bag. It pipes straight shots through the woods. It turns over and curves for gorgeous S-shots across open fairways. My anny shots have a lot of room to grow, but I can still attest that it holds an anny line well. It finishes with a predictable little fade on anything but a hard anny line.

I really need to find a disc in the 10-12 speed range to do what this disc does, because there's nothing in my bag between my Maverick and my Destiny except utility discs. I've grown since I got my first Maverick, and it has only grown with me. Fantastic plastic.

I own first run Mavericks, Lucid Mavericks, and now the Lucid-X Mavericks.  The Lucid X is a very stiff plastic out of the box. Not as much glide as my other Mavericks.
