    Bro-D roach

This is my second roach I have got. First one was putterline and I decided I wanted something a little stiffer that I could either feel good putting with or throw. I ended up putting with this for a while and I liked it, but ended up switching to KC Aviars/Focuses. Throwing though I think this disc is great. I throw this for my straight shots backhand/forehand, and this disc has really given me a nice touch forehand. If its not windy out and I don't feel like throwing my zone I'm reaching for this disc.

I like this disc as it is a slower and has good glide. I like to use this disc for short upshots as it is dependable. I might not use this in headwinds as it can be carried away. I like putting with this as it is quite stable. I recommend this disc to beginners as it is nice and grippy and definitely good for the less powerful arms.

I love this disc! I was putting before with an Aviar X3, which is a terrible putting putter if you are curious. My game has started to get a lot better, and I recently started looking for new putters. I got several other putters from other brands, including the wizard, aviar, luna, and a few more that I cannot recall. After spending a decent amount of time with each, I found myself in love with the glide and grip of this Bro-D roach. I have two that I bag for putting putters, and I just ordered one more in the Rubber Blend Glo for throwing. I can throw this on a slight hyzer, let it flip up, and just hold straight for days. I throw around 400' with drivers and can get this to around 320'

    Luna vs Roach (Winner)

Are you looking for a new putter that will help you reduce strokes? Go grab a Roach. I used to putt with Lunas when I first started because my brother gave me one. I struggled with putting for the longest time like most of us when we start. Inside circle one the Luna was a good fit but anything beyond was like throwing up a prayer. After getting a Roach I knew immediately after the first round that I would be switching putters. The Luna is too overstable for me and fades out on deep putts. I could tell a drastic difference in the flight paths when beyond Circle 1 up to 100ft when jump putting. Within circle 1 you won't see a difference and it doesn't matter what putter you use. If you are missing within 30ft and the putter feels good in your hands then you just need to practice and stop blaming the putter. The Roach excels for me outside circle 1. When I step or jump putt I use a tad bit of anyhyzer and the Roach will hold that line and eventually flatten or fade out a little (hopefully into the basket). The Luna would not hold that line and would fade too quickly giving me a slim chance of hitting the basket from deep. I have seen a drastic uptick in my putting since I switched to the Roach. I even made 3 50-60ft birdie putts today, and that's what made me finally write this review. I highly encourage everyone to try out a Roach if they think they need help with there putting game. The Luna and Roach feel exactly the same to me. The roach might be a tad bigger but nothing noticeable. The signature rubber blend (Bro-D) plastic has an amazing grip and is very stiff. I only putt with stiff and hard plastic when I am on the course but I do practice with Jawbreaker and it just as grippy but a bit softer. I do not throw putters off the Tee very often unless its within 200ft and when I do its usually a Zone or a Rat. On upshots (Jump Putts) within 100ft the Roach flies straight with a bit of fade depending on the angle thrown. For Sidearm upshots, I exclusively use my Zone (who wouldn't?) but I have taken the roach out for a few shots that I need to go dead straight and it works like a charm. Overall for me, the Roach is the perfect putter and I am glad that I switched over from the Luna.

Good beginner putter. It can handle a lot of power if you want to drive with it. The rubbery material masks it nice and grippy when its wet. The down side is it can make it easy to grip lock and send it into the unknown.

Very neutral flying. Can be used for straight on approach shots as well. Doesn't have a lot of fade so it will definitely go where you want it to.
