I've got a 172g Z-Swirl version. I got this on sale hoping it would be a good replacement for my Katana -- which I discovered one day was just not in my bag any longer. :  (   They are both listed as 13/5/-3/3, but the Nuke SS does not convince me of a -3/3: Testing it against other discs, its Turn/Fade seemed more similar to my Shryke (-2/2) and Mystere (-2/2), though it didn't get the distance of these two (which both have a 6-glide, so that makes sense). With a tailwind, I wouldn't have given it as much as a -2 Turn, but into a headwind, it did tend to get turned over more and into the ground, so -2 probably does fit.

The Z-Swirl platic seems reminiscent of the Champion grades, which I tend to favor, though this seems to have a little less grippiness than others. However, as with other Discraft discs, there's raised lettering on the inner rim, so you have the option of grasping the disc in those spots in order to get more of grip. I'm starting to find that I don't like the two-tone foil stamps on discs, as you're constantly wobbling the disc around in the light to make out what the images/numbers are. Overall a good disc, probably too much speed/stability for beginners.
