I started out with the leopard. It was a great straight flying disc but in time my arm speed started flipping the disc. The disc lost its way out of my bag. Then 5 years later I realized I needed a fairway BH turnover shot. Bought up a couple leopards to figure how to do it with my arm speed.
So the Halo Leopard3 has minimal turn and minimal fade, very straight which fades at the end.
The star Leopard3 is minimal turn with a forward fade, slight turn finish. One of my favorite discs.
The GStar Leopard3 for me had a unpredictable turn with sure finish fade. (Not in the bag).

The Pro Leopard I could flip and get a predictable turn out of it, it flies like a DX with a touch more stability but has the durability to not need to replace it every 3 months.
Needless to say I bag 3 leopards. It's a love it or hate it disc when listening to podcasters review the leopard family and I'm in the love it side.

Probably my most used fairway driver. This disc can give you great distance, and it also is a bit easier to handle through tighter gaps, as well. I have this mold in two different plastics, a max weight Halo Star and a 167g Star. The lighter weight one flips much easier and is good for turning anhyzers, and the Halo one still has some stability, making more of a straight to stable thrower. I just lost one, and after a year it had developed some turn. Time to start over, I guess!

I purchased an orange halo ohn scoggins lep 3 and  I got what felt like a sidewinder. Unless I over exaggerate the hyzer it turns over and burns right 80% of the time. I was very disappointed I have a Barry Schultz champ leopard and I love it but it is starting to get to beat in. I thought this would fly more like that disc did when it was new.

The halo star leopard3 came out of the box with very little turn and pretty hefty fade compared to its flight numbers. Reliable for hyzer shots and in wind.

After beating in, this disc flies dead straight with a small finish left (RHBH). Taking the time to beat this disc in is definitely worth it!

The Leopard3 is a great disc for beginners and advanced players. I personally love this disc for hyzer flips that glide dead straight or for very tight wooded drives. This disc offers a great flight that is friendly to slower and faster arms. I recommend this for most players.

I absolutely love this disc.  The halo star makes the disc a lot more stable than a regular star leopard3.  In my experience, it seems to have the stability similar to a teebird3.  I love it for flat backhands that I can trust to stay straight no matter how much power I put behind the disc.  I also like throwing hyzers with it because I can trust the disc will hold the hyzer line.  I love it for forehands as well.  Whether it be soft touch forehands for less than 250 feet or hard hyzer flips, the halo star leopard3 has so much glide and a very dependable finish at the end of its flight.

This is a good, straight fairway driver that is especially useful on long wooded holes where you need to hit a tight line and still get some distance on your throw.  My Leopard3 is in the Halo Star plastic, 173g.  My disc flies more stable than its flight numbers suggest it would, I don't see the -2 turn unless I really try to turn to the disc, and I do see some fade and skip on the end of my throws.  Maybe this is due to the Halo Star plastic but it is not a problem.

The disc is comfortable to hold and the plastic seems durable.  In an open field this disc can actually bomb because it has great glide and it is easy to put on some flex lines, so for a beginner this could be a good driver.  For me I don't throw this disc as a distance driver, rather I like to throw it at about 60-75% power on any hole where I need control and have to hit a specific line.  Off the tee pad on a wooded hole if I'm not throwing my Buzzz then I'm likely throwing my Leopard3.

This review is for a 173 gram Halo Leopard3. From what I have read discs in the halo plastic tend to be more overstable than in normal star plastic. For context my max distance drives are ~375 feet. This disc is an excellent straight laser fairway driver. I can throw this driver at full power and get a nice straight flight with perhaps a slight drifting turn and it will come back with a soft fade. My max distance with this disc is in the 300 - 325 foot range. Would recommend this disc to anyone with intermediate arm speed looking for a straight fairway.
