The Aviar is a very popular straight flyer with a touch of fade at the end. This disc is one of the most popular putting discs that always seems to find the chains.

Pro Details

Innova Pro Line uses a special blend of plastics that provide unique qualities for each disc model. The different blends of Pro Line plastic produce discs with a wide range of rigidity from extremely soft to firm and stiff.

Pro plastic is more durable than DX, and provides a better grip than Champion Plastic. Discs in pro plastic tend to be slightly more understable than counterparts of the same mold in other premium plastic blends.

This disc just does exactly what I want, almost every time. Straight flying for an approach shot, as well as capable of following slightly turned lines if there are obstacles. Always reach into my bag if I need a reliable putter.

I have been lucky to live close to a very well run and well stocked pro shop. As such I have had access to McPro Aviars and I am a big fan.

The stiff plastic and lack of a bead make it very comfortable in the hand, and they have an incredibly reliable flight (like any good Aviar does).

Having thrown both the KC Pro and McPro versions, I have better results overall with the latter. I keep at least one in my bag for approach shots and anything outside the circle.

If the opportunity arises, I recommend picking up a McPro, it does not disappoint.

I have an Aviar, but I putt with a Wizard or a Ridge. I've heard great things about KC pro aviars and SOOO many pros and general people putt with them, they must be good. But I love my vibram ridge, v.p. and gateway wizard. Overall, the Aviar is a fine disc, though.
