The Stego is a massively overstable utility disc. If you need a midrange that fades fast and fades hard, then this is the disc for you! It would be difficult to find another disc designed for such sharp and dramatic curves and virtually no glide.

I would not recommend this disc to anyone looking for an overstable approach disc. Go ahead an buy yourself a Zone, Harp, Tactic, or literally anything else. This disc goes absolutely nowhere. I can throw up to 430' and my max distance with this disc is about 215'.

With that being said, I gave it 5 stars because it is really good at doing what it is supposed to do. It consistently starts fading immediately after releasing it. It is also true that the harder you throw it, the more overstable it is. The best way to get distance out of the Stego is to throw a forehand roller, because it'll just roll forever if you get the angle right.

I currently bag a Stego in the glow Steglow plastic, partially as a meme disc, but I do occasionally throw it for approaches. If you want something that's entertaining to throw, pick one of these up, but don't expect it to be super useful.
