The Stego is a massively overstable utility disc. If you need a midrange that fades fast and fades hard, then this is the disc for you! It would be difficult to find another disc designed for such sharp and dramatic curves and virtually no glide.

Extremely overstable, extremely dumpy.  The harder you throw it the faster it dumps and gets to the ground.  The Stego is a strange disc and very unique, the disc is on a different level of over stability than something like a Zone or Harp.  It's not a disc that can be thrown for hardly any distance, so for me it's not a great driving putter off the tee.  However the Stego does have its uses if you get creative with it.  It is a good approach disc for those chip up shots within 100 ft of the basket.  Throw it with some force on an anyhzer angle and it will dump its way towards the basket, you don't have to worry about over-shooting the basket.  The Armor plastic has little bit of skip and slide when it hits the ground whereas the tarpit plastic just sticks.

I've also found it useful on some short and tricky downhill shots, or when trying to hit a green that's on top of a hill.  I tend to throw mine forehand more often than backhand, and I actually find the disc pretty comfortable for both shots.  The Stego is a very good forehand roller disc, just lay it down on a bit of an anhyzer angle and it stands up and rolls pretty straight for me.  Fun utility disc.
