The fourth putter in the Prodigy line is described as “the straightest flying” prodigy putter. The PA3 is a beaded putter, meaning there is a small bump around the edge of the bottom rim. Many disc golfers find putters with beaded rims to provide a more comfortable grip.

I can't imagine someone not having a use for this disc.

I have used three different pa-3's, two in 400 plastic and one ine 300. The 400 pa-3's for throwing and the 300 plastic pa-3 for putting. The 400 plastic is potentially a personal favorite of all that I've tried, having used it for nearly two years now and not showing any sign of warping or really any scratches. The grip on the 400 plastic has really gotten better with age as I found it slightly more slick as it was brand new and now feels almost like a baseline plastic for grip with premium durability. The 300 is just as fantastic, just in different ways. 300 plastic was phenomenal for grip since I put my hands on it, staying essentially as grippy for the year I've used it, and similarly not taking to keeping marks or being dented.

The shape is quite square, which may be the one point where someone may not love the pa-3. Definitely boxy on the rim, along with the bead, make the disc feel a bit tall. The top of the wing being rounded makes it sit in the palm more comfortably and not feel awkwardly tall for putting.

The flight when thrown is absolutely true to the numbers and hasn't started flipping after years of use. Very torque resistent if released awkwardly, it'll correct and not turn over. I may not throw far, but on full power drives it'll fly straight with just the slightest finish as it slows down. Just as it flys thrown, so does it when used for putting. Straight when released and fades back at longer distances. It may not be overstable, but is still strong enough to fight wind even directly in your face.

I believe as long as I'm able to throw a disc, I'll have a pa-3 with me.

My preferred putter for hand feel. Very straight up to 40 foot jump putts.Only downside is the "prodigy problem" of flashing still being on the disc. Reasonably easy to remove, but still the fact that it needs removing.

This review is of the 400 Pa3 in 174g. It came with quite a bit of flashing which was uncomfortable, taking it to some pavement made a night and day difference.

I used to not touch beaded putters at all. Then I started putting with Pa3 and Yetis, but still would not approach or drive a beaded putter. I acquired this 400 Pa3 and would at least give it a try for throwing. Wow, this is a beaded thrower for guys who don't like beads. The disc is tall and fits in the hand very nicely; I love the really blunt edge with a small shoulder into a flat top. It's definitely deep, but feels manageable. Ive never had any release issues with the bead, which is unusual for me. This disc really glides and carries, and is surprisingly overstable, like how a P2 is overstable. On a flex line these easily get 275 ft, further than any putter for me. It isn't the best forhand disc, but for touch shots and anhyzer approaches it works fine. The 400 plastic is like perfected Innova star plastic, I love it.
