The Prodigy F7 is a very understable fairway driver that is great for beginners. This medium-speed driver is available in Prodigy’s 400 series plastic and utilizes Easy Release technology. Prodigy recommends this disc for recreational players, turnover shots, and rollers.

Please note that the F7 was originally released as a 7 speed disc, but in 2023 Prodigy updated the numbers to reflect what they felt was a more accurate flight.  There was not a physical change to the mold, but that's why there may be differences in the numbers stamped on the disc.

I love this thing. It's understable with 'that Prodigy fade' at the end. I love their plastics. They feel great to me and give me confidence to throw them. And they are very durable. The soft stuff beats in nicely, and the durable stuff lasts, well let me put it this way: I've never had to replace a 400 or 750 because of its flight changes. In fact, I've not had to replace their softer plastics yet after using them all year.

This disc is more understable than any other Prodigy I've thrown. I bought it because it looks like a longer Glide on paper, and that's pretty much how it flies. Great for long backwards shots (turning if you will), soft straight hyzer flips, and of course BH rollers. If you put enough air under it, it will fade at the end of flight, though never back to center. At first throw it was understable but not too much. After a short break in, it's really doing what the book says. LOTS of turn but I have more confidence with this understable disc than any other I've tried with this kind of understability. It's heavy 400g.  With enough snap on it, it will really curve.

I also have a relatively  heavy 750 F7. It's not turning as much as the 400 yet, though I think it will eventually- mabye in a couple years. 750 takes forever to break in! It's stiffer, too, though very similar to 400g. the 750 is definitely flying stable and harder to flip up. I consider the heavy 750 one a stable driver more than understable.

This is a turning disc, so it's not for every tee!  I can recommend it as a go-to driver, if you like the understable drivers. It's a very solid flip-straight, controlled turn, roller shot disc. With some snap, you can hyzer flip-turn-fade this sucker to create some very impressive S shots.
