I love thumbers and this is easily the best thumber disc I've thrown! I can get it out to 320'+. I just wish Latitude would make more discs in Frost line. It's like gummy champ and takes a beating. I don't really throw this disc backhand as it heads left immediately and doesn't go very far. Good disc for forehands.

I have a 168g Frost Line XXX and it is amazing for forehand shots. I can throw it flat and get a solid skip and then it stops. I can also throw it on a hyzer and it'll bite into the dirt and won't move much from the impact zone. If thrown flat backhand, it'll normally start fading soon after leaving my hand. I would recommend this disc though if you have a solid forehand but need something with a lot of fade.

I am also a big fan of the Frost Line plastic. If I need a disc and Frost Line is available, I am picking it every time. It is very grippy and durable. Nothing tops it.

The XXX is a must have disc for all disc golfers. A switch army knife of discs, the XXX will be your go-to for getting out of trouble, for precision flex shots, for hyper straight rollers squeezed though tight gaps. This disc doubles as a great forehand upshot choice in Frost Line, giving a bounce instead of a skip. I recommend Opto Line for those straight rollers you need to get out of trouble and for crazy flex action through Charlotte, NC woods.

X Frost 169. Not sure why this is in my bag tbh. Honestly, it is just a huge meathook. Not like the Trident for me where I can it is for some distance with an anny release or like my Stiletto for any of its purposes. It just there. It going right, hard right, just out of your hand. Johny McCray is trying to be the first person to turnover a XXX, untill I see how this goes idk what I am going to use it for.

I picked up two XXXs to compare the plastics, as well as different amounts of dome. The Frost Line XXX I got was 168g, and very flat. I really liked the feel of the Frost plastic for overhand shots and the rare backhand (rare when it comes to something this overstable). For my forehand shots I found that the Frost plastic was a little too soft and gummy. The way I forehand I like a firmer plastic.

Another reason I liked the Frost for overhand shots is because I thought the softer plastic would endure the beating overhand discs tend to take a little better. After testing both a domey 177g opto XXX and this Frost 168g flat XXX, I was surprised to find they flew very similar for me, it was a matter of what throws each disc handled better (mostly in terms of feel).

I think the XXX is a great option for an overstable control driver. Keep in mind the stiffness of plastic and how it will effect your throws, and all of the other options and rim sizes available.
