The Latitude 64 Trident is a unique disc, perfect for specialty shots that require a monster hooking fade. When you have a moderate distance shot and need to go around a big clump of trees, this is the disc to reach for. Although the Trident is a driver, it has a speed rating of 6 and a glide rating of 4! If you’re looking for a max distance driver, this is not the disc to choose. The Trident has a super-blunt rim and a fairly flat top. This disc feels very comfortable for both backhand and forehand shots.

This is such a faithful disc that has such a control flex as it beats in. This is not a beginner disc because it will dump quickly.

I use multiple of these.as they beat in to get a controlled high speed flick. New I'll get dead straight 260-275 straight and heavy fade with RH backhand.  My beat in have a great high-speed left turn(RHFH) with a strong straight run to right hand finish up to 350.  If you have power this is really an amazing disc and many people ask what it is

Great Forehand, my go to driver.   Feels great in the hand, odd dimensions for a mid range.   if you like to throw forehand drives, this disc is a must.

This disc is a great overstable fairway driver.  Despite it being labeled a six speed it is definitely faster and goes further than you expect.  This is a very consistent disc that has always gone where I expect it and gets the fade you want every single time.

I carry 5 in my bag. 1 Opto, 1 Retro, 1 Gold and either 2 Moonshine or 1 Moonshine and 1 Opto-X. I own a couple dozen. This is my second review of the Trident a couple years later.

This disc is normally just a utility disc with a harsh fade no fade. I prefer to throw disc at speed rather then slower arm and having the disc do the work. For advance arms it can fly straight then hook both forehand and back hand. It is worth trying if you have arm speed.

Only problem if any is that it is a driver rim so there is skip. I have to carry a mid with good stability incase I do not want a skip.

I use Moonshine off the tee, Gold for forehand, Opto is fairly neutral to flippy now with 5+ years of use and Retro is warped and beat up for up shots.

This is my all time favorite disc, so I own quite a few and always bag at least one, currently two.  I carry a 170g thats super beat in which has developed some understability, and a fairly new 177g one that's stable-overstable.  If I had to play with one disc for the rest of my life it would be the Trident. I end up using this disc for more shots than any other disc in my bag, here's why:

    - it throws out to 250ft laser straight, on a sidearm, then dumps in about 25ft for a 275ft upshot. My beat in one flick hyzerflips on crazy lines I can't throw with any other disc.

    - It gets used as my get out of jail free disc on every deep wooded hole. It has a blunt edge with punches its way throw loose shrubs and branches

A truly fantastic disc that keeps getting thrown regardless of whats in my bag.

Trident is good for two shots: hyzer and forehand roller

The rim is so flat on the edge that it can roll a mile! I never use it for air shots, mainly because it’s just a blunt meat hook with a decent skip, which is covered by other discs.

If you need a dead straight forehand roller for low ceilings, escape shots, and occasional overhand, this disc will work

    utility disc for sure!

I'm not really surprised this went OOP as it is similar to a XXX and many people don't use or lose utilities often. But I feel this was one of the most unique and best discs on the market.

I would call it a speed 7, 4 glide, .5 turn and 4 fade. It was actually useful for those longer FWY straight shots where you needed a strong finish. Very reliable. I had a couple Opto's over the years.

I bought this disc from the used section at a local store on a whim which I usually never do. Went out started throwing it and love it as a forehand disc (LHFH). Flies straight and finishes with a pretty hard but predictable fade. I was surprised when I got home and looked up the ratings how slow speed of a disc it was. Seems to fly further and faster than a 6! Almost never throw backhand with this disc but it's one of my go to forehand discs
