The Latitude 64 Trident is a unique disc, perfect for specialty shots that require a monster hooking fade. When you have a moderate distance shot and need to go around a big clump of trees, this is the disc to reach for. Although the Trident is a driver, it has a speed rating of 6 and a glide rating of 4! If you’re looking for a max distance driver, this is not the disc to choose. The Trident has a super-blunt rim and a fairly flat top. This disc feels very comfortable for both backhand and forehand shots.

I use the Trident as a beefy midrange. It's basically a baby Firebird with glide. I really like flat discs and this is about as flat as they come. It's good for forehands but not for thumbers. Another issue is availability. Technically it's out of production but Infinite seems to get some special runs every once in awhile.

this disk is great as a utility disk on an open course or as an essential utility disc on a technical/wooded course.  though its called a fairway driver, its really a mid.  it feels great in the hand.  way more hooky than other discs designed to do  similar things.  really don't get why it is discontinued.  hopefully just oerproduced and they'll bring it back next year.  hope i don't loose it! tempted to get a backup.

One of the most predictable discs of all time and I have stocked up due to it being OOP. Opto plastic is my go to. This is like a Gator on steroids. 5 speed or not, I can easily rip on this for 300'+ with a massive hook at the end. Big league fade. Longer than a Gator or Justice so a great compliment to either. Anything inside 300' in nearly any wind condition and I'm totally confident. Even if its a wide open shot, I just know exactly where this is going to end up. I can thumb these farther than Firebirds and they make awesome FH rollers too. One of the greats! Total accuracy.

This is my favorite fairway driver. Although it's classified as a midrange, it can be absolutely throttled with great precision and results. I am fully comfortable throwing this RHBH + RHFH, heck I'd probably still rip it a mile LHBH.

I can utilize the fade for nice hyzer lines, but I typically dabble with some flex with very forgiving and predictable flight path. I also have thrown it at lesser power for finesse approach shots and it is just as useful. I've recently read (like, 2.5 minutes before writing this review) that it is OOP, so I plan on liquidating my assets and purchasing at least two more of these guys to last me a long time.

5 BIG Stars for this disc!

I bought the Trident in Opto plastic at 175g when I was brand new to the game and thought that "overstable" meant it had to be better than other discs. This thing meat hooked so strongly that I soon learned about flight ratings and bought discs more beginner friendly. About a year later I started experimenting with this disc and since then it never leaves my bag!

This dicc will always come back... always!

Doesn't matter if you throw forehand or backhand, if you need a disc that will always come back, no matter how hard or poorly you throw it and no matter how strong the wind, then this is your disc!

This disc will also turn tight corners like no other disc I've ever seen.

I really would never play any course without this speciality disc in my bag.

I disagree with the description of this disc in that it is possible to get great distance when released forehand!  This disc is amazing at sidearm drives when you release it with a lot of spin it will S-curve beautifully and always come back after it flattens out.  I've used the Trident and Flick and both get comparable distances even though their speed ratings are so different.

The Trident excels at specialty shots as well, it is a tremendous roller, spike hyzer, thumber, and hammer disc.  It has gotten me out of trouble more times than I can count!

The Trident is an awesome, unique disc and it's ridiculous that it will soon be oop. It hooks as much as a Firebird at the end, but until the fade out it flies much flatter. Great for shots where you want to come out from trees on a dogleg and get as far down the fairway as you can once you've turned the corner. With it's beefer, driver-shaped rim, it sits really nicely in your hand for flicks. Pick one up before they go extinct because there aren't any others like it currently.

I believe that everybody should own this disc. I don't care what brand you throw...you need this disc! I have 3 in Opto and 1 in GL but I only bag 2 Opto's at weights 175g and 177g. I primarily use this disc as a utility disc but I use in nearly every round! I typically flick it for upshots but I do backhand it as well and it ALWAYS fades hard at the end has a very reliable skip. It is a true meathook and a must have for your "short" game. It's a slow 5 speed disc that would lead you to believe that it's a mid-range(which I think it is) but it is molded like a fairway driver so it fits nicely in the hand.

Pick up one of these bad boys in the used disc section at Walters Disc Golf Emporium, think I paid $8, Prob the best performance / money paid for disc raito ever for me. The par 3's with a slgiht left hooks , you better believe I'm throwing this and hitting even `the tighest lanes everytime. Hole 6 & 16 at Bellamy are thrown with this everytime and are my most frequently birdied holes.

The Trident has been terrific for me in tournaments. I have one in Opto and 2 in the Gold Line. The Opto is a little more of a meat hook for those reliable fades and making it out of a tornado. The Gold Line Tridents are magical. I'll get a little bit of turn out of them when I crank it but it has become a staple in my bag. Hands down, the GL Trident is my favorite disc for sidearm throws from 250-325. It fades just how I want to and sticks the landing. This disc DOES NOT SKIP...at all. Ever. That kind of reliability is hard to pass up. Great for spike hyzers (FH & BH) as well. This is an undervalued disc in the Lat 64 line up.
