My Flight Ratings: 2/3/0/1 Very Beginner Friendly Throwing Distance: N/A Straight Score: N/A

I have been trying out a lot of putters lately. I have experimented with the Whale mainly as a thrower.  I have a G-star X-out that feels absolutely perfect "in the hand."  It is more of a handful than some of my other putters, and it has a very comfortable rounded rim. The backhand flight for me is perfectly straight, stable, and floaty. It can handle a lot of power, some wind, and gets good distance. If you like thicker putters, this is a great one to try. It is an excellent backhand thrower.

I like it for forehand upshots too- I get a straight stable flight with a slight hyzer release. However, the deeper rim feels a little less comfortable for forehands... though it isn't horrible.  It is a reliable upshot flicker and that counts for a lot.

I didn't need another great throwing putter, but I like the Whale. I'll put it in the rotation. I love the grippy G-star plastic.
