Really good beginner fairway driver. I have it in Starlite 144 g plastic. Great s turn will fade right. I have heard it is a great roller disc as well, but I have not tried that yet. I use this disc for approach at 200 ft. Just dead on for me.

This disc has its pros as do most all discs but I was not a fan. It may have been the plastic type that I purchased but it just seemed to flippy and felt weird in my hand. I am thinking it was more of the Star Lite plastic than anything else. If you do buy this disc, especially since it is so understable, I would get a plastic that does not beat in quickly. Champion plastic feels the best in my opinion.

I feel like Sidewinder's more narrow rim allows me to set my fingers more firmly in the rim and get a really good snap on release.  My RHBH is not a strength of my game - a work in progress and the SideWinder (158g) gives me more distance and control than higher speed drivers.  With a slight hyzer release, the SW pretty effortlessly stands up, glides right and floats out before a nice fade to the ground.  All 3 of my boys started on a SideWinder early on and it really got them going with their BH throws.  I occasionally use it for FH flex shots and it does it well.  Great disc overall - useful for all skill levels.

I am an older noob, having just started playing for-serious in the spring of 2014. I quickly fell in love with the sport and added several new discs to my new bag.

The Sidewinder by innova it's my longest driver right now; don't understand the physics well enough to know why... it just is.

Mine is approx. 155 grams, the weight is obviously a factor. I have meatier discs and  lighter ones (down to 138g), this one is my go-to driver. I consistently out-drive my competitors. For me it has a predictable flight path and good distance-- 280 is about where I currently max out. But those of you with young guns will surely surpass that with the Sidewinder.

Great add to your bag for the price.
