The Savant is a 9-speed driver, capable of good glide and a very predictable fade. It is comparable to the Innova Eagle, only a bit faster. It is a great mold for both beginners and advanced players, as it is easy to control and is a disc that can be relied upon.

This is a fantastic disc for both control and distance. The -1 turn makes this disc a slightly beat in thunderbird and has a little more dome to it. If you like the thunderbird but throw it like James Conrad, I would highly recommend trying a Savant! I bag two (Champ luster and Champ color glow).

I immediately fell in love with this disc, for backhand and forehand shots alike. It is very much like a faster eagle. Not too glidey, and not too overstable.

This disc is quite domey and flies like a longer teebird. I like this disc but it won't take my thunderbirds out of the bag because they are hard to get. The cons are availability and it lacks some of the high speed turn that a teebird has.

The Savant seems to be a stable to slightly overstable fairway driver. It has very little high speed turn and isn't exceptionally long. It flies a bit sluggishly and for me ended up short of where I thought it ought to be. The Savant handles headwinds well and isn't prone to flipping. Its an accurate disc for short drives or second shots toward the hole. Not really a disc for beginners. The Savant takes some decent arm speed to get going. You'll have to massacre it to get any noteworthy distance. Its obviously more of a control/fairway driver.

I thought it flew slower than the speed 9 its supposed to be. The Thunderbird has a lot more speed, penetration, glide, and distance.

Not a useless disc, but it really doesn't do anything a Teebird or Thunderbird won't. On a side note, the plastic (luster/shimmer, whatever) is gorgeous.

I got one of these in a players pack from a tournament last year.  I love the feel of this disc over all, but the stability just doesn't seem to taper off even after tacoing it on some trees.  The -1 turn value is a bit over stated as this disc is VERY stable.  I do like it for turn over shots into a head wind as I know this disc will fade at the end of the flight pattern.  My rating is more towards a 3.5 star due to it's reliable finish.  Hopefully this disc will be more indicative of it's flight numbers down the road.

I found this disc in new condition at my local course and called the number on it. The guy was extremely nice and gave it to me as he had already replaced it in his bag. I had never heard of this disc before then so i wasn't sure what to expect.
After a few rounds I've come to rely on this disc after losing my teebird. The disc is made of champion plastic which tends to be a little more overstable so i think the flight numbers are slighly different.

What i like about this disc is you can throw it with full force and it wont turn over.if you throw it on an anhyzer line it will slowly flatten out then fade back strong and gets a really good skip. The other Pro is this disc flys well in the wind.

some things people might not like is the grip of the champion plastic. The disc has a dome shape and the rim is not very wide so it took some getting used to at first.

Overall i'm very happy with this disc because of how consistent it is. I know every time i throw this disc on my chosen line it will fly like i expect it to.
