Pro Details

Innova Pro Line uses a special blend of plastics that provide unique qualities for each disc model. The different blends of Pro Line plastic produce discs with a wide range of rigidity from extremely soft to firm and stiff.

Pro plastic is more durable than DX, and provides a better grip than Champion Plastic. Discs in pro plastic tend to be slightly more understable than counterparts of the same mold in other premium plastic blends.

XT plastic was not an option; both colts I own are XT

I had a prototype Colt and very much liked it, the change in mold is a bit unfortunate as after trying the new mold I find the deeper rim, and domed top with slightly different XT blend not what I originally wanted when looking for restocking putters. I am a bigger fan of shallow putters, and the new colt has moved away from the original prototype. My prototype colt in the bag is a big more overstable than the new run. The new colt is a bit more resistant to turn and definitely more understable than the prototype. If you like flat topped putters I would probably look elsewhere.

The current Colt mold is not bad, just not favorable compared to the prototype to me.
