    Metal Flake C-Blend Details

Metal Flake C-Blend is the same durability and make up as C-Blend Plastic (comparable to Innova Champion), but Metal Flake has sparkle flakes inside the plastic. This makes the plastic not only durable and long-lasting, but also adds more cosmetic appeal with extra sparkle. Some players feel like Metal Flake adds just a touch more stability to the disc.

I was able to use this in a mystery challenge as my only driver. It was amazing for any big flex shot. The overstability is expected and constant! there was never a time when I thought it might turn the least bit.

So I grabbed this disc at a from a vendor on site at a recent tournament. I was very excited to have a wind fighting disc in my arsenal.

I have thrown it probaly 50 times since then trying to work it into the bag and i cannot seem to get it to fit.

Maybe i have a less stable run of the Slab but whenever i put it on a flex line, it burns over on me. It is not as stable as my Scpeters

Disc: 175g Metal Flake C-Blend (Blue), Run 6

Feel: The Slab looks to share the same bottom as a Czar, with an even more blunt nose top. The shoulder on the one I have does have a slight rise into the flight plate, but then a very flat top. The feel is very comfortable, though I had hoped for a completely flat top.

Flight: I intended to use this more as a super overstable utility driver for flex forehands, forehand rollers, and skip shots. My rated flight numbers: 11/3/0/3.5. Without the completely flat top that most other Slabs have as I am told, it was not as overstable as I hoped and flew just slightly longer than a Scepter or Firebird with a similar flight.

Overall: If you find a super flat topped Slab, this could be a great utility or headwind driver, but for me it overlaps with a Scepter too much that it does not hold a spot in the bag.

The Slab is a great overstable utility driver. I love using it for long flex forehands, and for backhands that just won't turn over and will finish very nicely. The slab is very flat, and I love that, for the forehand especially.

The Metal Flake C-blend is a great feeling plastic, and I wouldn't have this disc in any other plastic. It's durable, grippy, and very sleek feeling.

Overall, I would recommend this disc to anyone who's missing that overstable driver that's in between a fairway driver and a distance driver.

Run 6 Metal Flake C Blend Slab

Comparative with my Patrick Brown Signature C Glow Slab, the Metal Flake C Blend is not as ridiculously overstable. I am finding this run to be for my off the tee Drives that I need to go straight with a more "Softer" Fade. I mean soft in a sense that this run has less skip/ground play then the C Glow Slab or even my C Glow Gibson Scepter.

As for the in air flight on a BH Drive I can mash it flat and count on a 290ish Flight before it starts to make its inevitable fade to the ground where max wise it'll come to rest at that 320-345 Mark depending on the land area. FHs has a similar flight but as that is my weaker drive off the tee not as far, maybe 280 Max, but that's more on my form rather than the disc.

I definitely recommend the run more for the intermediate player who is looking for that consistent dependable flight out of a utility disc.

The Slab is a high speed meathook, to get the most out of it you will need a powerful arm. This is the big brother of The Scepter. The disc is comfortable and feels great to throw. One of the best high speed overhand discs I have used, though it does need some height to stabilize. If you have the power and need an overhand and/or meathook, then you should buy one. If you don't have the power, then buy a Scepter....actually regardless you should buy a Scepter, as it is a fantastic disc.

Newer runs of the metal flake C-Blend feel great in the hand. Good shape to the disc and of course have a great stamp. Noticeably straighter than the concrete slab which allows it to be useful on more situations. If you're looking for a workable high speed disc with a solid finish, look no further.

Great disc for tunnel shots that aren't straight to the tee. Throw this on a hard anhyzer and it will still flatten out and fade. Great for heavily wooded courses where flex shots are a necessity.

The Slab is a very overstable high speed driver that is great for high wind situations, utility shots, and reliable hyzers. If I ever play a course that is known for high winds then I will make sure that I have the slab in my bag. I have also enjoyed using the Slab for thumbers, tomahawks, and forehand rollers. Grab yourself a Slab is you need a solid utility disc.

I got the chance to try out the MF C blend slab and it was very impressive. I was able to get about 320-350 on a flat to hyzer shot thrown at full power and it never once wanted to flip and it tried hyzering very soon in its flight. Very good utility disc that is defintely worth trying out if you havent.

This I only throw FH. It can handle a lot of torque and works great on FH flex shots around obstacles. Mine is flat topped and fast out of the hand. My recommendation is to avoid the off white colored C-Blend. It's very hard to find.

I just got my first Slab recently and wow did I fall in love quick. I got this disc in a metal flake C blend that is super flat and comfortable in the hand. It is a 12 speed so it has a decently large size rim. I bought this looking for extremely reliable stability and that is what I received. I threw this disc hard on forehand anhyzer lines and it fought out of them quickly and faded hard. Not recommended for beginner players because it is so over stable! This this is awesome for fighting all amounts of wind and guaranteeing you a solid finish at the end of its flight. I recommend this disc to anyone who has at least 300ft of distance/power so they can get some flight out of this disc.

I love the slab! It is a very reliable disc to have in your bag. It is probably the most reliable disc I have in my bag. I use it every round, and it has changed my game. It gives me confidence with my forehand, and accuracy with my backhand. I would recommend it to power players because it is very overstable. But any skill level could find a way to utilize it in their bag.

The Slab is one of the many discs way too overstable for my arm. However my buddy that I gave the disc to loves it and has bought more since. He flicks the disc on an anny line and it hold that line for a bit, then rolls over for a solid fade. I've seen local pros handle the disc just fine, too.

I think that if you can hit 400 feet on a drive, you could handle the Slab. If not, it will probably not work out well for you.

I only have the super stable x out c blend to compare to, but I found this to be a tab less stable than I expected. This was my first venture into our MF blends, and although they seem to be less stable rather than over like other companies MF plastics. Not that this makes it an under stable mold, just slightly less than the normal C blend. This disc flies dead straight for me out to about 325ting to hook up, with a forward, not dumping fade. I throw a couple in the 168 range that allows me to flex them just a bit, where as the heavy ones have 0 turn for me. If the wind is up or I need a bit more distance than what my scepters give me in the wind, this is what I am reaching for. That said when choosing between the 2 the scepter will have more fad than the slab, but not as much distance. It is not our longest distance driver in the lineup for my arm, but for me it is the most consistent at the moment.

I have two Metal Flake C-Blend discs, one standard quality for my primary bag and the other X-Out for my travel bag, both 167 grams. For back-hand throwing, this disc is too much for me. I keep it in my bag as a utility disc for forehand upshots when I need a deep spike-in-the-ground stop. I’ll consider this disc for backhand steep hyzer spikes, too. However, for my forehand upshots, I gravitate first to the 7-speed Exodus C-Blend (which has a stronger fade than the S-Blend and I-Blend versions) and then to the 9-Speed Scepter C-Blend. I can handle these speeds on overstable discs much better than the 12-speed Slab. Still the Slab stays in my bag as a utility disc for when I need that dependable steep hyzer stop.

I think this is a descent utility disc for those who can handle the speed required for this disc.

If you want a super stable very reliable driver, here it is, the SLAB. The name describes it pretty well; it even sounds stable. I have thrown mostly the MF C-Blend, but also have one holy grail Slab - that is the special super flat C-Blend X-Outs that are STUPID stable. I can throw it as a roller into the ground, and it fades before it hits the ground, it's awesome.

The regular runs of C-Blend and MF C are your strait forward super reliable, very stable discs, definitely not as stable as my oddity C-Blend X-Out. I use them mostly in windy adverse conditions, if I want to throw a big spike hyzer, or if I'm not trusting my forehand on a particular day and want some extra insurance that it will not turn over. I've also thrown them for strait power shots and they perform very well (the one I use for this type of shot is fairly beat in). The Slab feels great in the hand, has a fairly large rim, and are generally fairly flat but also range to a ever so slightly domey profile.

If you need a super stable, dependable, get out of jail-free-card type disc, here it is. The Slab is a great utility disc for shaping those weird shots, you may only have one every twenty rounds or so. It can do funky magical things, as well as the strait forward magic it provides every day if it's in the bag, and you're on the course. Check it out.

I bought the slab as a utility driver for hard doglegs or getting out of brush and fading back into the fairway. So far it has held up to those expectations wonderfully! Being a speed 12 with a hard fade I can throw it standing still or with an approach and get a very consistent result. It fights wind very well and brush for those unfortunate out shots. I do experience a small amount of turn though on a full strength forearm throw

The Slab is easily one of the most overstable discs in my bag to date. But that doesn't mean it is unusable. In high winds, this is a very reliable driver to get you a fair amount of distance while holding up to any headwind. It will not turn over unless you release it on an extreme angle, and even then it will want to fight out instantly and fade out.

I already have a review down below, but after picking up 2 new Slabs I wanted to reiterate that this is one of the best molds I've thrown in the past 7 years. I've tried firebirds, felons, monsters, and more, but this disc is just perfect. The metal flake plastic is gummy, but durable. Seriously if you guys are looking for an overstable utility disc or something for power forehand hyzers/flexes get the Slab! Owning 4 is complete overkill, but I just want to have a stash of this run!

This is a great utility distance disc.

Slightly gummy, a shade away from being board flat, and beefy as all hell.

Its great for big flash skips around obstacles, fighting the toughest idaho winds, flex backhands, and hard distance flicks.

Basically a longer firebird with more skip.

I bought the Slab to fill the overstable utility slot in my bag and it has not disappointed.

The disc has a nice feel in the hand, the top is fairly flat and the plastic has some nice flex, making for an easy grip.  As advertised, the disc has low glide and is overstable, which I enjoy because I am usually throwing it for overhands or forehand flex/skip shots where I am targeting a specific landing zone.  The disc pans nicely on overhand shots and the metal flake c-blend can take the beating that comes with the rough tomahawk landings.  On forehand and backhand shots thrown low and hard, I am able to get huge skips out of this disc, which has made it a go-to in tight spots where I need to navigate an obstacle.  I also use this disc for backhand spike hyzers, where again the low glide contributes to more accurate shots.

As stamped on the disc itself, this is a utility driver.  This disc will not go into your bag and be the longest flyer, but it will do exactly what it was designed to do.. give you consistent over stability and allow you to get out of a lot of tight spots and perhaps like it has for me, open up a few new shots in your game.

This disc is not really a beginner friendly disc, but it can be used by beginners as a nice super OS utility discs for those hook shots and HARD hyzers.  That being said, I absolutely love this disc.  I've always been a fan of the Firebird (especially the Sexton Firebird) and the shots that I can get with it.  The Slab is very similiar to the Firebird, but with a slightly thicker rim (making it really feel like a slab).  To me it flies like a faster Firebird (which is what it really is).  It is definitely more OS than a firebird, but not by a whole lot.  I have recently switched over from my Firebirds to my Slabs, and things are looking good.  I'm ready to serve me up a slab of birdies now!

Let me start by saying this plastic on the metal flake c-blend feels amazing and looks even more amazing. It's somewhat soft on the flight plate but firm around the rim. Very flat profile. Feels like a faster, beefier flat top firebird.

As far as it throws, I'd say it's right on the numbers. Extremely stable. You have to put a lot of mustard on this thing to get it out there but that's really not the intention of this driver. Like it says, it's a great utility disc. I pull it out when I need big hyzer drives or to get out of a bad spot. It works really nice on dog-leg drives that you want to guarantee to get around. Very good driver in head winds. Recommend this to anyone.

I really enjoy my Metal Flake C-Blend Slab. For me, it's sole purpose in my bag is for the utility.

This disc is basically The Winter Soldier from the Captain America and MCU Universe. When you pull this disc out of the bag, you hear faintly hear a Russian accent that says "Ready to Comply". This disc has one mission, and that is to fade hard. If you throw it backhand, it's going left. If you forehand it, it's going right.

Although I can barely, get this disc to the 250ft mark on a full-power flat backhand release, it's not unusable. You can carve some beautiful steep S-curves around trees, and get some wicked skip shots with the wide rim. This is a utility disc dream boat.

Pick one up and give it a shot

This is the most overstable disc in my bag, and is a Max mold. It is still incredibly overstable, but I would say the Max has just a slight leg up on it for overstability by a bit. It has a comfortable grip in the hand, and will always fade back no matter what angle you put on it. In extremely windy conditions, or ridiculous get out of trouble scramble shots this thing is my best friend. If you have 300-350ft of power with a flick this might go 275-300. There isn't too much dome on the Slab like some Max's I've seen. It has some, but has a more flat or neutral dome profile overall. It's definitely something I don't break out much, and is used for utility. Everyone needs this type of disc in their bag, and you'll be glad you have it for that one-off situation.

The faster, longer, firebird. I loved this disc from the first throw. I find it to be extremely workable. I throw metal-flake Max's and seeing as Slab is not as stable, I find it still very akin to Max's flight. Graceful, semi-long, over-stable flight's virtually without glide. I use it primarily for wind, slow turn-overs and occasional spike hyzers. I'm very excited to see what other players do with this disc as it will be no doubt great for big spikes, skips, overhands and long forehand rollers. Would be hilarious to watch someone use as a beginner disc.

My favorite disc when I started develop a good forehand was a Discraft Flick. The Flick was the disc I could count on to get me out of tricky situations. When I got back into disc golf this year I decided to not pick up a Flick so I could develop the other parts of my game and not rely on my old dog. After a few months I started to fell confident that my game was becoming more well rounded and it was time to add the Flick back in my bag. Then I saw Infinite Disc released this disc called the Slab.

I always liked the rim on Innova's Max but prefered Discraft's Flick because of the board flat top. The Slab is the best of both worlds, utilizing the Max rim with a board flat top.

While the Slab felt amazing with my forehand grip. I wasn't completely sold until I threw it. WOW! This disc is exactly what I always wanted; A beefier and more predictable Flick with an even better interface. I couldn't be more happy with the Slab and I'm excited to see what else Infinte Discs has to offer.

Update: Disc of the year for me!

I love this disc so much I went ahead and grabbed another one in a lighter weight to complement my super overstable 175g test run Slab. The new 168g Slab I purchased is amazing for forehands and spike hyzers just like the max weight one I already had. In a lighter weight I've found the disc to be just as stable, but it has a bit more glide and doesn't require a maximum power throw to get it where I want it to go. I hope more people try this mold and find out why I love it so much. Great work Infinite!

Almost all of the reviews I see say that the Slab isn't a good disc for beginners, but I would say otherwise. Yes it is an EXTREMELY overstable disc that requires good power to throw, however it doesn't require that much control to actually get the desired flight. If you can throw with good angle control you will get a great flight out of the Slab. I throw this disc on a forced over forehand and it always comes out and fades back right. Up to 280-300ft. I can rely on this disc in the wind and other adverse conditions. The disc feels really good in the hand because of the fast rim and gummy MF plastic. If you have ever played baseball or a sport that required an overhand/strong throw this disc will work great for you.

Note that my Slab was a test run so I don't know how it compares to the production run although I assume they are the same.

The Slab is likely the most useful disc in my bag. It's similar to a Justice in the sense that you may not be using it off the tee very much, but there's certain shots that come up on the course where you need something that's just so ridiculously over stable that you can trust it to fade extremely hard and fast. The Slab has very little glide making it very accurate as you can trust it to sit down nice as close to your intended target without, but what I do notice compared to my Metal Flake Max's is that the Slab seems to be somewhat more throwable than the Max. To make my Max get anywhere I feel that I have to put a lot more into it, so much so that it might make the shot inaccurate. The Slab however feels that I can control it without adding that extra bit of power. I would definitely recommend the slab to anyone, it's a disc that will get you out of any rough situation on the course.

The Slab is what everyone else says it is... a Slab of Beef. It's very overstable and turns left immediately out of my hand unless I put some hard anny on it. It's great for throwing spike hyzers, or straight shots that need to fade hard left around obstacles.

If you have the arm of Garrett Gurthie, it might fly straight for 400 feet, but for me, it's an approach disc that I use in place of maybe a mid or a fairway that I need to just hit the ground quick. Be careful, it does skip!

It feels great in the hand, it's pretty dang flat so that helps its overstability. Check this out if you need something truly overstable!

The Slab is a very overstable driver, thus falling into the "utility disc" category. With that said, I can still get a very flat release, or put a little anhyzer on the disc and it can cover some good distance before it falls out of the sky. It is designed to fade hard and steep once it looses velocity, so it really accomplishes that.

The Slab is best if sharp angles, and I used it regularly in my test round to curve around trees when the basket placement demanded that approach. It would also work great for high hyzer throws which will almost tombstone into the ground because it lands on such a steep angle. It is exactly what you want in a high-speed, overstable utility disc.

NOT for beginners. At all. They'll give up disc golf if you hand a Slab to them as their first driver.

The slab is a beefy disc. Not for vegans/vegetarians (totally kidding). If you want a disc that will fight almost any headwind and always have a reliable over stable fade, this is your disc. Great for quick fading flex shots and skip shots too.

This is a fantastic disc for experienced golfers. This is the disc that many of the team infinite team members has been waiting for.

The slab is very overstable and very fast. Flat and low profile = great feel in the hand.

The plastic is slightly soft, but not gummy. Just enough give in the plastic to give your great grip. I love the plastic, it feels great and looks great.

This disc kicked the PD2, Warhorse, Stilleto out of my bag. All three kept getting rotated in and out of he bag because they all just didnt quite fit what I wanted. But the slab is super OS, but not so OS that I cant use it and it being a little slower makes for a tighter fit in my hand and less sensitivity to nose angles and speed and tends to be a longer firebird for me.

Try one out! If you don't like it, someone will buy it off you. VERY POPULAR in the team and don't see the first run lasting long!

The SLAB is an overstable beefcake. It would easily become my go to driver if it had a touch more glide to it.

It is a very reliable disc and would hold its flight in any type of wind. Definitely a disc for the throwers who can crush.

The SLAB has been very highly anticipated by myself, so it was a relief when I got this and it was everything that I had thought it would be. This disc is as overstable as they come. If you need a big spike over some trees that will dig in, reach for the SLAB. If you need a huge flare shot from a low drive, reach for the SLAB. If you just hate throwing far and straight, reach for the SLAB.

The SLAB is one of those utility discs that I think everybody should have in their bag as they start playing more. It is great for anything that you would need out of a crazy overstable disc, such as big spike hyzers, big flare skips, grenades, (possibly overhands but I don't mess with those), and making people feel like they have weenie arms.

One thing that I have come to really like about the SLAB is when throwing it on a more normal flight path, something that is a mild hyzer, it will hit the ground and then tends to do a forward roll. It doesn't just dig in, and it doesn't usually take a huge skip, just hit, tumble, and roll out a little extra distance.

The highly anticipated SLAB from Infinite Discs is exactly the overstable disc everyone wanted it to be. The Slab is very overstable, but can still be useful for utility shots for beginner and intermediate players. For faster arms, it goes straight for a bit when thrown flat, then quickly fades. It's also nice for flex shots thrown on an anhyzer around obstacles and very dependable in high wind conditions when other discs are at a higher risk of flipping over.

It's a great utility disc for players of all arm speeds, especially for skip approach shots and drives in high wind conditions.

The Infinite Slab feels great in the hand and should have a place in every player's bag!

The Slab does one thing and one thing only, it hyzers. That being said the Slab is a surprisingly comfortable disc with a moderate sized rim and nice flat profile to it. The metal flake c-blend is probably the best plastic to go for with this disc and my test subject is around 170g.

The slab was designed for utility so it doesn't make much sense to go over all the normal stuff. This disc is designed for headwinds, overhands, and big hyzers. It is worth nothing that this disc does carry reasonably straight for quite a ways before the air brake kicks in and this disc dive bombs to the ground. I found this disc generally doesn't skip much when thrown with height but if you do get the disc to hit while it is somewhat flat this thing will skip area codes on you.

The Slab is what you are bringing with you on that day when its probably way to windy to play competitive disc golf the tailwind performance just isn't there when you're this stable but headwinds are no problem.

I think the slab is fun and worth having around, and for its designed purpose it works flawlessly.

The Slab is an overstable distance driver that can hold up in any wind and with any arm speed. This disc is great for forehand power shots and even big thumbers. The Slab is a reliable overstable disc that has little to no turn to it. When thrown hard and flat it will hold straight for less than half the flight before hyzering out. Having a fairly wider rim this disc feels great in my hands for back hand and siderarm grips. Overall the Slab is an overstable disc that you can trust to go left.

The Slab is the newest driver to the Infinite Discs lineup, and it does not disappoint. The Slab will be a consistently overstable driver for even the biggest arms making it a very reliable disc in any condition. With the combination of a comfortable feel and consistent flight, this disc will be found in many bags!

Many people might compare the Slab to an Innova Max, and I would agree with that comparison. Both disc are similar in the hand, and both have a very overstable flight. In order to get a more accurate comparison, I'd have to field test them side by side, but overall they feel and fly similar.

For me, the Slab is a disc that went instantly into my bag. I've tested the Slab on many different lines in order to figure out its best use for me. When thrown on a hyzer backhand, the Slab wanted to get to the ground and spike instantly. When thrown flat, it also wanted to find the ground quickly. Again, the disc did not carry very far at all. When thrown on an anhyzer line, it fought out quickly making a great choice for getting around trees. I love this disc for backhand shots, but I primarily see myself using this disc for sidearm shots. It is perfect for flex forehand shots that need to go anywhere from 250-350'.

The prototype run of the Slab is in Metal Flake C-Blend. The plastic is very grippy and feels very durable.

Overall, this disc is crazy overstable! Beginners would not find much use for this disc while intermediate players may only use it for utility shots. This disc is perfect for advanced to professional arms looking for something very overstable! Scared of the wind? Fear no more. Grab a Slab!

Eagle McMahon may be able to smash one of these pretty far, but most amateurs are not going to get much distance from the slab.

However, this is an AWESOME utility disc. No chance of this flipping over on you, and I love the feel in the hand, especially for stupid overstable shots.

I've thrown this 20 times or so, and almost every time the slab had a massive flare skip at the end which could come in hand if you're playing in an area with a lot of ground play.

This type of disc should be in any experienced players bag.

The slab is a great utility driver. I would place the slab between a felon and the beefy defenders from dynamic discs. It wasnt as overstable as I was thinking. The slab would be great in any headwind and have a reliable fade. Bigger arm players would have success throwing it as one of their main drivers, but I would not recommend this disc for newer players. Great disc and should find a place in all advanced player's bags.

    BEEF, it's what's for dinner :)

The Infinite Slab fills a huge slot in the lineup of molds. It is an 11-ish speed driver that is ridiculously overstable! It has a blunt rim, and a super flat top which gives it a fantastic feel in the hand both forehand and backhand. This thing can be ripped on anhyzer into a headwind, and will still hyzer out and give you that expected skip from a mold like the Slab.

The MF C-Blend plastic is much more grippy than you would expect, which IMO is perfect. If you're looking for that super OS ulitity disc, and need something faster than a Firebird look no further than the Slab by Infinite!

    12-4-0-4 (Faster Flat-Top Firebird)

Feel: pancake flat top with grippy c-blend plastic that has some flex.

Rim: comfortable width and depth. Not too wide but deep enough to get a good grip and rip, which is needed for how overstable the SLAB is.

Speed: The SLAB is a faster flat-top firebird. It jumps out of the hand with Destroyer speed but flies with the overstable, dumpy flight of a flat-top firebird. I'd compare it to a flat top PD2 but a tad slower (I think the PD2 is a speed 13, not 12)

Glide: The SLAB is closer to a 4 glide than a 3 glide. I threw it up against a flat-top champion Max and, whereas the Max has a glide 3, the SLAB has a bit more glide.

Turn: The SLAB has no turn unless you put it on a line with a lot of arm speed and snap and force it into a turn. I could get some turn onon a forehand flex shot. Even on a backhand shot with anhyzer angle it didn't really turn. Just flew straight for a little longer.

Fade: The SLAB fades hard. Not as hard as a Champion Max but not much less. I gave it a 4 fade.

Skip: the SLAB has a lot of skip if it hits at the right angle. However, if you give it enough height, it'll come down at too sharp an angle which deadens the fall leaving the disc closer to where it lands.

Forehand: I have a strong forehand throw and I found the SLAB to excel on FH flex shots. It'll fight out of the turn and fade hard. When released flat the SLAB does not go far because it fades hard and quick.

Backhand:  I threw the SLAB on typical BH shots where I throw a beefy PD2. To get the same distance as the PD2, I had to add more anhyzer angle and it required all my snap and power. It did not turn but flew straight, but surprisingly did not completely dump. It began to fade for part of the flight then dump as it slowed at the end of its flight.

Forehand Roller: The SLAB is great for forehand rollers because it comes down on the angle you throw it. Flat-top champ Max is my FH roller disc and the SLAB performs similarly. You gotta give it a lot of speed though because it curls out of its roll pretty quickly if you dont.

Overhang: I prefer a slightly narrower rim for overhand shots and something a little less OS. I could not get the distance with an overhand throw on the SLAB as I can with my beat up Firebird.

Headwinds: No Problem. I can't imagine the SLAB flipping in the wind. Too beefy.

Overall this is a great mix of utility and use. It functions well on shots that require a lot of BEEF but for big arms and FH shots it can be used for longer shots around corners.

    HOLY GAUCALMOLE!

The Slab is among the latest of Infinite's releases, and boy is it a beefcake. I bag both flat champion Firebirds and slightly domey star Firebirds, and the Slab puts them to shame. This thing is grade-A, USDA choice prime beef. If you're looking for a useable distance driver, this sure isn't it. But if you need the ultimate utility disc for forehand rollers, torqued flex forehands, spike hyzers, overhands, or any other crazy nonsense, then baby, the SLab is your jam!

Currently only available in sparkle c-blend, the Slab is very flat with only a slight rise on the shoulder. To keep it within PDGA legal weight, it does have a bit of Blizzard-type air bubbles in the rim, but it is hardly noticeable. The rim is decently wide, felling about between a speed 11 or 12 by Innova's reckoning. It feels remarkably comfortable to grip both backhand power grip and forehand two or three finger grips. When thrown hard (as it needs to be) it veritably rips out of the hand.

Thrown backhand, I couldn't really do anything with the Slab. It would start fading instantly and only net me, at most, 250 feet of distance counting a ground skip. Forehand, which I am not skilled at, was better as my natural torque flattened out the high speed portion of the flight before starting a big fade. Where the Slab really shines in on overhands. I threw probably 5 of the 10 best thumbers of my life while testing the Slab. It rolls over perfectly, never spiking, and gliding out gently. It is almost pinpoint accurate for both thumbers and tomahawks, If your rotator cuff can handle it, this might be your new favorite disc just because of that alone.  The Slab also makes an excellent forehand roller disc if you are looking to get the disc down quickly.

Word to the wise: this is about as far from an entry-level disc as can be...proceed with caution!

This disc is one of my favorite even though I know it's not for everyone. The Slab is basically my ultimate utility disc. I loved the Metal Flake Max and this is the Metal Flake Max re-born. I am really enjoying the Infinite Metal Flake C-blend plastic this run of it feels nice and grippy in comparison to my Metal Flake Max and really comfortable in the hand. I use this disc for the most massive short range skip shots and surprisingly it is my longest forehand roller disc. Obviously I do not think this is a disc for beginners, but big arms and people like me who love the most overstable utility disc on the market I think should enjoy this disc.

Side note it is great seeing people's reactions the first time they see this disc skip!

This is the new Infinite disc I have been most excited about. I have been throwing pro line monsters for this slot for a while and the slab has finally replaced them. Overstable no matter what the wind is and extremely predictable.
