    Big Jerm Concrete Slab

I finally decided to take my first run metal flake c-blend Slab out of the bag and replace it with a fresh Jeremy Koling Concrete Slab. This is my Firebird/Draco slot in the bag. I like having the larger rim than a 9 speed for getting skip with the finish on lower angle shots. I mainly throw the slab forehand, but it comes out for backhands with heavy headwinds and utility shots. I love the look and grip of metal flake plastic already, but concrete adds a bit more tack in my opinion.

Some people think it's crazy overstable but I feel it's perfectly overstable for the shots I use it for. It comes out a few times a round, off the tee or on approaches. Great for forehand roller, get-out-of-trouble style shots in the thick woods. As well as overhand shots, this thing has good flare to it when thrown on a low, flat angle. Great for getting around sharp corners that aren't far from your lie (or teepad).

If you are a forehand thrower who has problems with off axis torque, this disc will be an autocorrect for that. Unless thrown on a chop angle over 45 degrees or so, it'll have a perfect s curve flight and always fight back to fade out as predicted. I don't think it's good for beginners as it is higher speed and overstable. I never even consider going back to the 9 speed overstable slot anymore after finding the Slab. For reference, I used to throw the Max but they were getting too hard to find and the profile consistency wasn't there. Domey, flat, in the middle... it just varied too much. Then I moved to the Millennium/Hyzerbomb Sabot since it's a tooling of the Max. It was more readily available but I still was finding too many inconsistencies with the profile. I wanted board flat and I kept getting some that weren't. The Garrett Gurthie signature edition ones were nice and all board flat, but by that point, I had moved to the Slab (another Max tooling). Get a Slab in your preferred plastic and give it a go. They are all board flat (from my experience) so it's all about getting a plastic you like. I have a new Big Jerm Halo Slab also, but the Concrete run still seems like it'll be more up my alley.

I've been throwing my slab for a couple months now and I've been loving it. I can throw this thing on a forehand flat or even a touch of anhyzer and it will go out about 200 feet then just start dumping doesn't have the same stability backhand for me but I can still trust it to have some fade at the end overall a great discs flies more like a 10 speed than 12 in my case tho

The Concrete Slab (MF Big Jerm edition) is the most overstable, low glide drivers I have in my bag. This disc does not want to stay in the air long but is really workable when thrown hard with a little bit of anhyzer. I really like using this disc for low ceiling skip shots or shots where I am throwing over OB and need something that will definitely fade and not turn over.

This disc is an absolute beef cake. It is a great utility driver for super spike shots or flare skips backhand and forehand.

This is a utility disc if I have ever seen one but a GREAT one.  It is perfect for spike hyzers and when you need sharp angle. Feels SO good in the hand and works the same for FH and BH.  Expect a HUGE skip. If you find your self with a strong wind and a need for a strong hyzer you will wish you had this disc. So glad I picked one up. My only mark is that it is so overstable that you will not get a 12 speed distance out of it but that is to be expected with low glide and high fade.

This is absolutely the most overstable disc I have ever put in the bag. I know in my own heart that I don't have the arm to make this disc go incredibly far, except for a few lucky flexes. But there is a small niche slot in the bag where this shines: FOREHAND ROLLERS!!! If I am ever in jail, or stuck under low ceilings, I can gently flick this disc onto the ground and it'll go straight forever before finally curling and sitting down gently. That is probably the only thing I will use it for in the future unless I play in some GBO-level winds!

    Concrete Slab 175 grams

I was looking for something I could really rely on in the wind, forehand with ease, and really throw some sexy flex lines........BINGO! The slab is ridiculously overstable......exactly what I wanted!! The plastic is very grippy and beautiful with the metal flakes. Very flat topped so comes out of the hand like butter. Perfect for my forehand or any skip shot I could possibly want. If you want something you can really torque on and trust then get yourself a SLAB!!

Too fast and too stable for beginners. Excellent utility disc, skips for days!! Head wind, no problem, crank on this baby as hard as you want and it still will come back for you, very hard to turn over!!

175g Concrete Slab - This disc is a total meathook. I have it in C blend, MF C blend, and Concrete. My concrete slabs are much flatter(board flat) than the others and have less glide. This disc if great for ripping headwinds, but I get more use out of it in scramble situations where I'm throwing tight skip shots, FH rollers, and FH cut rollers. This thing will never stand up on me on FH cut rollers and has gotten me out of many sticky situations where I'm looking at nothing but a pitch out.  I prefer the MF C blend for drives because it tends to carry a bit longer while still being a reliable meathook. As primarily a utility disc I don't use the slab a lot, but when I need it this thing saves me strokes.

This disc is super overstable and does exactly what its meant to do, go left rhbh, or right lhbh. This disc is a utility disc that holds up in any wind, and can do some pretty useful things that no other disc can. This disc is great for flick rollers that you need to go straight a long ways, or panning overhand shots. This is great for skip shots or flex shots because of its extremely overstable flight. I don't use this disc that often but when I reach for it I'm really glad I have it in the bag.
