Ever so slightly more understable than a Firebird (I wouild still give it the same flight numbers). It seems like it will hold anhyzer just a hair longer and/or the fade will kick in just a hair later. Surprised me since its parting line looked slightly higher than my Firebird's. Otherwise, flat top Firebird = Love it!

Less stable than anticipated, flies similar to a slightly beat felon, firebird, or raptor. Overall Moderate stability and good glide. Feels nice in hand for both sidearm and backhand.

Really loved the overstability of the c blend. Feels a lot like a firebird, but maybe a bit more overstable. I definitely need to try it in an s plastic.

The first run C blend I have absolutely bombs for an OS control driver. Feeling it side by side with a champ Firebird and a C line FD3 it feels a bit more like the FD3 to me. Just a touch of shoulder unlike most Firebirds and it feels just a bit deeper. In practice it flew almost identical to the FD3 or a Raptor, good bit of glide and a hard late fade. Was getting 400-430 with good effort out of it.

On a hard forehand line it turns a bit, holds for a long time and spikes hard and late. If you throw it low and flat, they will ride for a while and skip really nicely.

Probably wouldn't give it to a newer player as it is pretty overstable, but if you are looking for a really nice OS control driver for forehands or a wind fighter this is a great option.

Absolutely love this disc.  Very stable driver that has good glide and strong finish.  Was bagging a Raptor previously and felt that it just didn't glide out like I wanted.  This not only glides well, but has a very consistent finish.  Can take a lot of power and is great on those anny-flex lines or into strong head winds!

Just like the Innova Firebird. This is my favorite utility disc, I will use it for grenades, spike hyzers, and tight flex lines because it will always fight back.

If you have been thinking of getting a Firebird because you keep hearing about it from your friends or when watching Disc golf coverage, just do your self a favor and get this disc. You will save a couple bucks, give it a couple throws, then fall in love. Guaranteed. This disc will finish hard every time but offers slightly more glide than found in a Firebird will be helpful for newer throwers or slower arm speeds.

Tangent: If we tell people all the power comes from the hips, why do we automatically assume less distance is slow arm speed? Maybe, it's all in the hips as Chubbs Peterson tried to teach us. Anyone know some good hip exercises?

Newer players or slower arm/hip speeds will likely rely on this disc as a utility/escape disc, such as around trees or skip shots to get out of sticky situations. This is why i rated thios disc "not beginner friendly", but not totally useless either.

I have found the perfect shot for me is about 275' forehand where i can expect a huge flare skip every time. My chains get tickled as the disc slowly moves towards the basket and inevitably doesnt actually go in. #9 at Morgan Sports Complex is the best hole to skip off the OB parking lot right towards the basket. I predict this is where my first ace with this disc will come.

I dont seem to get as much distance backhand, usually about 250' before the disc just dumps hard left into the nice grass/sand/dirst/mud/rocks below. This disc is not picky, it wants to hit the ground. Only high power or an anny line can delay the inevitable.

I go back and forth on preference between the FD3 and the Firebird, but the Scepter has the best of both worlds that were causing me to flip flop; it glides like an FD3 and fades like a stable Firebird. I picked up one of the limited stamps in c blend at 172g and I've been loving it, especially with the awesome double foil stamp. In the hand it feels flatter than most firebirds I've had, but to no detriment of the comfort. I rated it as neutral in difficulty for throwing, since it could be used as a utility disc at any point in your disc golf career, with its' hard fade.

I can't say enough about this disc for the woods of New England. If I need reliable fade on my RHBH or RHFH and also need to hit a line, I reach for the Scepter. Since it's been added to the bag, I've been able to remove two Firebirds that had less consistency and control. This disc is not leaving my bag!

I love the Scepter! I've always wanted to find a way to get a consistent Firebird and I believe this disc is the best for that shot! Each one is consistently a flat top mold (this is my favorite Firebird mold) and they feel/fly fantastic! I think it's more stable then the "average" Firebird which I love and might have a touch more glide - honestly though the glide difference would be very minimal if this is the case. If you don't know what a Firebird is this disc is a super overstable fairway driver that will always be dependable.

After getting some serious dings in my Champ Firebird, I was on the hunt for something to replace that overstable utility disc. My first stop was the Streamline Flare. Love the look and feel of the Cosmic Neutron, but way too overstable for my skill level. Then I tried the Scepter and instantly liked it. I don't get a lot of distance out of the disc, but always a hard left finish. And I love the feel of the C-Blend. It feels a little softer/gummier than my Champion discs.

The Scepter is great for hyzer shots or shots you need a hard left turn. When I throw it on an anny line, it only goes a short way before it fades left. That is fine if it is a short shot, but for a longer turnover shot I would need to use another disc. But, that isn't why I need the Scepter. For it's intended purpose, it is perfect!

Well, I have fallen in love with the Scepter. This newer mold from Infinite Discs is awesome. It's a super strait, stable flyer, that you can trust in the wind or on any regular calm day to shape some great shots.

I have a couple C-Blends, but was also able to pick up a couple of the C-Blend color-glow metal-flake runs they did for their VIP club, and they are all awesome. They are fairly flat, have a nice sized rim (what you'd expect out of a 9 speed), and overall great feel to them. They have almost made me take all but one Slab out of my bag (the super flat C-Blend X-Outs that are so insanely stable and irreplaceable). I like how the slightly smaller rim feels, and I just feel like I have so much control with the Scepter.

The flight fits right in with a Firebird type slot in the bag. The Scepter is very trusty, and fairly stable in calm conditions. It fights out of anhyzers fairly well, but will still hold if you put enough on it, but works awesome for strait power shots and big hyzers. I find myself reaching for the Scepter more and more each round, as it becomes more of a staple in my bag.

I did find that the C-Blends I have, seem to fly more stable than the metal-flake color-glow run, which is a little odd (since I'm so used to the opposite: metal-flake and/or color-glow being the stable runs). There is also something about the metal-flake color-glow run that has a slightly gummy feel, and it feels just right to me. I've found myself reaching for the MF glow run for the straiter, calmer shots, and the C-blend when I want a bit more hook, am throwing a spike hyzer, or have adverse conditions on the course.

If you haven't had the chance to try a Scepter yet, I would absolutely recommend it. It has very quickly made it to the top of my mold list from Infinite Discs. I think all the molds are great, and fill an important slot, but my personal favorites right now are the Tomb, Ra, Scepter, and Emperor - if you haven't tried any of these, get one.

The Scepter is the real deal. I was skeptical about its ability to be truly over-stable, but after many tests, the stability rings true. There is a 3 glide listed, but I'd definitely give it a solid 4 as it does have some decent carry. Backhand or forehand, the Scepter excels at just about everything you want or need it to do. It is basically a Firebird, but one that, I believe, is more over stable. Fantastic mold.

The Scepter is the overstable fairway driver in the Infinite Discs line and fills its role very well as a disc that always provides a dramatic fade at the end of flight. I have enjoyed it in utility situations when I need to go high and drop on top of a target or move around obstacles. I have also had a lot of fun throwing it with an anhyzer release for dramatic S-curve shots. It will not be a primary driver in my bag, but will be used regularly for specific shots and I'll always be able to count on it for a dramatic fade.

This is NOT a beginner friendly disc. It fades too dramatically for new players. They'll eventually work into a disc like this once they learn how different flight patterns can serve different purposes on the course...but it's not the first disc you should hand to a new player.

The Scepter is the perfect compliment to my Slab. It is a great fairway driver that found its way in to my bag over one of my Sexton Firebirds. I absolutely love the firebird for the versatility they provide, but the Scepter was just a hair more stable than the Sextons, so it made its way in. It also is a touch flatter than those, so I have found success in the few overhand shots that I have thrown with it.

The Scepter is a great disc for both forehand and backhand drives. The stability is super dependable, so no matter the wind conditions, you can expect this disc to do exactly what it should be doing. I love the feel of the c blend disc in the hand. It is not too stiff, but it is not super soft either. This disc is a great addition to the Infinite Discs lineup.

The Scepter is a Firebird by another name. It does exactly what you'd expect. I have a couple and they all came out pretty flat, which can be sought after depending on who you talk to (Innova hasn't been consistent on their flat top firebirds as of late). I use it mostly for forehands, and if I'll want to get ay sort of distance then I'll have to throw it on a slight anny. It's a great consistent disc that you can rely on every time.

The Scepter is a reliable fairway driver that will be your go to disc immediatly. Very overstable but useful in almost every situation. With a medium sized rim and flat top this disc can be thrown forehand, backhand, overhead, upside down, it doesn't matter. Throw it hard and trust it to hold up in any wind. Great disc to lean on!

The Scepter is excellent disc for big arms, or anyone who is looking for the consistent, overstable, utility disc in that slower, fairway range. It has a very flat top, low profile feel...highly akin to a Firebird, FD3, Felon, etc. type disc.

Compared with the Firebird, it seems to glide more, similiar to an FD3 or PD type glide.

Feels great forehand, great backhand, just a really great mold!

I would rate it at 9|4|0|4

The Metal Flake Glow Scepter is a different story. This thing, for me, is like a worn in, very glidey, Sexton Firebird. Same flat feel (maybe a hair lower profile feel), a bit gummier than the standard C-Blend, and again excellent feel forehand and backhand!!!\

I would rate the Glow at 9|4|0|3

The Scepter is the beefy fairway driver that the Infinite Lineup has needed. I've been throwing the Slab for this shot, but it's just too fast. The scepter is the perfect slower speed overstable fairway.

It's flat and fits real well in the hand. I don't forehand much, but the scepter has definitely made me feel more comfortable with my forehand upshots.

It goes straight for just a sec before starting it's sweeping fade. Like many have said it's very firebird-esque, but flatter than more firebirds I've had/felt. I'm really liking this disc and it's made the bag instantly!

The C-Blend Scepter is a very useful disc to have in the bag. Infinite Discs now has the very overstable smaller rimmed driver falling right in the Speed 9 / Fairway Driver category.

Think of the Scepter as a very beefy flat-top version of the Firebird. In fact, to my understanding, they share the Firebird mold, but the tops are flat, and the C-Blend varies slightly from Champion plastic. I do think the C-Blend feels better to me than regular Champion plastic.

For my arm, the Scepter disc is very overstable. I compared my Scepter to a brand new Champion Firebird, and the Scepter was noticeably more overstable. I've thrown many types of Firebirds (metal flake, champion glow, Sexton Firebirds), and the Scepter is the most overstable variant I've thrown. I LOVE the feel of this disc for forehand shots, as it fits perfectly.

If you want to fill the slot of very overstable fairway driver in your bag, make sure to give this disc a shot. This is a disc you will reach for often.

Nice overstable driver. Excellent in the wind. It always fades back at the end. It's super comparable to a Firebird, and it's  pretty flat-topped. I love the grippy, somewhat soft c-blend plastic!

After a good bit of time in the field and multiple rounds under my belt with the Scepter in the bag, I can definitely say this is very similar to a Firebird. The Scepter is going to hyzer, even when thrown on a big anyhyzer angle. I have enjoyed being able to throw the Scepter hard and flat with a very predictable fade at the end. The disc feels amazing in the hand with the C-Blend plastic.

The Scepter bumped my Firebird out of my bag.

This disc is a firebird clone in my opinion.  A great flier, it's taken the felon right out of my bag.  Nice easy clean release and a great stable flight.  I actually made an ace the first time i took it out on the course.  If you love an overstable control fairway driver this is a great disc

If you love firebirds you will love this disc! In the hand it feels like a Monster and a firebird had a baby and made this beautiful gem. I prefer the feel of the CGMF over C-Blend because of its gummier feel. but both fly beautifully.
