This the Flat Top Firebird everyone wants! The Sexton Firebird to be exact! If you want a Sexybird & don't want to pay those high eBay prices, get a glow c-Blend Scepter! It's also just as flat in other plastics! The flight is identical to me! I literally can't tell this difference! The Scepter is the cheat code for a FAF Firebird! I mean it is a Firebird mold, so it makes sense. I have heard other players say this Gibson run is less over stable, but I just don't see it. I also think this is not necessarily "not for beginners" because even they can benefit from the flight characteristics of a Scepter. 5 stars no doubt! Just buy one! You won't regret it!

I've bagged the 2021 (I believe) run of drew Gibson glow c-blend scepter since it came out. It's still very overstable and has a slight puddle-top to it. Plastic feels amazing and is slightly gummy.

The Scepter is a great overstable 9-speed disc that has become crucial to my game.  Being essentially a flat top firebird, it feels great in the hand and flies reliably.  I can confidently throw this disc into a headwind and know it will fly straight and fade out.  Great for forehands as well with the flat top!

The Drew Gibson Color Glow scepter is not as over stable as other scepters, but still has a decent fade at the end. It flies like a perfectly beat in scepter. I use this scepter when I want the disc to carry straight for a little longer than a normal scepter before it starts to fade. I have even started to get some turn out of the disc on really windy days, and I have thrown some of the straightest forehands of my life with this disc. The plastic blend feels fantastic and all of the ones I own and have seen are decently flat.

This acts like a faster, straighter, thunderbird. You can hammer on this disc and it will be very dependable not to flip. It is very comfortable with less done than other discs in class and flies better in my opinion. The only problem, is that the Gibson stamp is so pretty, that I don't want to ruin it. Wish I would have bought two: lesson learned for the next run.

I bag the Drew Gibson Signature Scepters and they compliment my Firebirds great. They are very flat top and overstable. Depending on the line, I'll use them for shots around 200-350. Advanced players will get a straight flight with hard fade and beginners will have a great utility disc to shape lines. If I hit it right, I'll get a great flex with that dependable hard fade at the end of flight. If your looking for an alternative to other crazy priced overstable fairways, grab yourself a Scepter.

Just got about a dozen throws in with a Drew Gibson Color Glow Scepter.  Initial impression is this disc is outstanding.  Everyone knows about color glow.  Great feel, good grip, good durability.  It was more overstable than some of the previous reviews led me to believe which to me means it will season to perfection.  I have been throwing the Stal in this slot for the last few years, but they are hard to come by, and the newer ones are too domey.  This will primarily be a forehand disc for me out to about 350' and I prefer a flat disc for my forehand.  It is honestly hard to tell the difference between this disc and a flat firebird (it is a little less overstable than a FAF firebird but more so than a Sexton).  I just ordered another 2, with one being lower weight that will hopefully season a little faster.  Great replacement for a Firebird/FD3/Stal etc.

A lot of people compare this to a firebird with more glide, and I agree with that.  For other people who throw trilogy plastic, this have become a replacement for my opto trident, they just fell amazing the hand and yes very overstable and I would not recommend this disc for a new thrower, however once you catch on, this disc is amazing..

In my search to find the Infinite version of an FD3, I finally found it in the Scepter. I would say the glow is especially close to the flight of an FD3 while the S blend seems more stable. If you've got an arm this is a disc you can rely on for BH even in the wind. For FH it's one of my go-to's because even when I inevitably roll my wrist over its fast and stable enough to fight back. Once beat in a little they stay up a little longer like most discs will but the fade at the end of the flight never seems to go away.
