I picked up a swirly S-blend Scepter at a recent tournament. Before I even threw it, I liked the way it felt in my hand better than my Raptor and Captain's Raptor. This is a very comfortable disc.

The S-blend plastic scepter is quite straighter than most overstable 9-speeds I've thrown. That's something I like. I don't have much power with my forehand, so I can get a lot more distance while still enjoying the dependability of the fade at the end. This will also be one of my go-to discs to throw in the wind RHBH.

In short, this disc is a perfect balance of controllability and dependability. I highly recommend the Scepter for intermediate players looking to fill the overstable 9-speed slot in their bag for the first time or for more advanced players looking for a very controllable, overstable fairway driver.

Coming from an all Innova bag to an all infinite bag i chose the scepter to replace my firebirds and it did not disappoint. this is a firebird replacement all day, holds up on heavy forehands and when pulled over on a flex backhand, also very reliable in the wind.

I recently purchased a Scepter in the Swirly S-Blend plastic. I was looking for a disc to replace the Raptor in my bag, and I think it is going to do just that.

What I love about this disc is how much it liked to ride straight before having that harsh dump. I feel like the disc has a sneaky amount of glide compared to my expectations. Don't get me wrong though, when it fades, it fades hard.

My only complaint with the disc is the flashing on the bottom and outer edges of the disc. This is a minor issue and something that will fix itself over time, but it does catch your fingers on a forehand release and doesn't feel the most comfortable in-hand because of that.

(comparing it to a firebird) not as overstable as you would expect, TON'S of glide very similar to a sexton firebird as it is very usefull unlike some firebirds, very workable, you can release it flat and it will go strait with a predictable fade (415 ft arm speed). i LOVE this disc and will have it in my bag for a long time to come!
