Basically, the Scepter feels and flies like an old flat top Firebird. Despite the 0 turn rating, with enough power you can get a little flex with the Scepter. This disc really shines in the wind, particularly the Metal Flake glow runs. Others have compared this favorably to a Felon or Firebird, and that's very accurate. I think of it like an overstable fairway for those of us who can't hyzer flip halo destroyers. I would assume the I blend runs are even more workable, and that would be great for newer players learning how to play in windy conditions. There are a bunch of discs that are similar to this, but infinite has lots of cool stamps and plastic combos that put this over the top.

This has to be my favorite disc from infinite, because it is the most reliable disc in my bag. The mf glow c-blend feels amazing and is by far the most overstable of the plastics. I also throw the S-blend signature series and the I-blend which are both fairly less stable than the glow plastic and allow me to get more distance with that predictable fade at the end. If you're looking for a very flat top version of the firebird then try this disc out.

Very overstable brand new, you can get nice flex lines or have it dump hard and skip depending on release angle. Metal flake glow plastic feels great, excited to beat it in.

This disc is absolute BEEF. Perfect for any hole where there is a harsh dogleg left/right to navigate. The angle does not matter; once it slows down it will fade HARD and STRONG. I can't get enough of any of the C-Blend variants. If you have trouble finding the perfect flat-top firebird, get a Scepter instead to satisfy your needs!

What more can you say that hasn't been said about the Scepter?! Its a fantastic Over stable 9 speed fairway driver. Easier to obtain than older, more Over stable firebird runs. Nice and beefy to fight the wind well. Excellent addition to any golfers bag.

This Sceptor is AWESOME. It is a really great complement to my 21' Sexton Firebird. Much move overstable, & perfect for that 250-300 foot overstable forehand shot. Can't imagine playing a round without it now!

Man oh man is this thing awesome! The scepter is the disc I didn't know I needed in my bag until I threw it. I've thrown a couple of different plastics but the Metal Flake Glow has been the most stable (fyi there may be a more stable run, I just haven't thrown it yet). It's the ultimate glidy firebird with a super flat top. So if you are looking to replace the firebird with something with more glide but still fights wind super well, then this is it! The Metal flake glow feels great in the hand. Now I do throw at 4000+ feet of elevation so it will probably get more glide in lower areas. Overall, one of my favorite discs I have in my bag!

The Scepter is excellent if you want something on those medium 2-300 foot holes where you have to get left or right in a hurry. Similar to the Firebird in flight this disc is excellent for forehand power throwers, sky high grenades, or  thumbers and tomahawks. If you need a disc that is going to fade hard at the end get yourself a Scepter.

Grabbed a couple of these for glow season and after throwing it a few times, here are my notes:

Flight: I was most surprised by the glide I got from this disc. I was expecting the disc to dump rather early and quickly, but it manages to hold the glide for about 200-250 feet or so (with about 400 feet of power for drives. To be clear, I can get this disc out to only about 325) before beginning to hyzer. On forehand, the flight is remarkably similar to backhand with a great amount of glide but a hard and dependable fade. Depending on nose angle, it will either skip hard left/right or more straight pushing if nose down.

Feel: feels very comfortable in the hand both forehand and backhand, as the ones I have are incredibly flat. The glow metal flake c blend is gummy, but still is firm enough to throw cleanly. The grip on it is one of the best out there.

Overall, if you're an advanced player looking for a disc that isn't at the stability of "utility" but rather something you you are trying to make sure sits in the middle of the fairway on a dependable hyzer line, while still getting some good distance off the tee, this is a great disc of that. If you're an intermediate who is wanting a utility disc or something to learn anhyzer angles, this is a great buy.

Most similar discs: Quantum Draco or Sexton Firebird (normal firebirds seem more overstable to me.)

Having thrown the others, I found this to be the most comfortable for me, plus that mirage stamp is SICK!

The Firebird has died and the Scepter has Risen.

Never was one to throw a firebird or anything of the sort but I realized if i wanted to develop my game more I needed such a disc in my bag.

I was instantly attracted to the scepter because it was offered in the GMF blend of plastic that has made me switch to a full infinite bag. After i had the Emperors in my bag for about a year i realized I needed a Stable fairway driver. So after learning about the discs offered in the infinite line up it was a no brainer the scepter was for me. So i picked a very cool scorpion zodiac GMF scepter and have never looked back, Bought another and I am about to pick up 2 more lol (wife is going to kill me)

I gave this a neutral on beginning friendly because some beginners will be able to throw this disc! If you are looking for a disc that you can flex shot, this is the one, it also provides a nice skip if you need it and feels great in the hands. This is a disc I don't see very often out on the course and the more I throw it, the more people wonder what it is.

New team member for 2020 and the Scepter was another instant bagger.  I came from throwing Trilogy  and the Scepter is the great replacement for the DD Felon, WS Ahti, Lat 64 Pionner or for Innova players a Firebird.

For me the Scepter is my goto forehand  disc for shots from 200-250 ft.  It can also handle a nice amout of power on a backhand shot and with the 4 Fade can fight any wind out there that's not blowing 40mph.

I rated this disc as Not Begineer Friendly again because most new players need to start with understable discs, but this disc could be a usefull utility disc for new players who might just need that hard fade to get out of trouble.  I feel like the Scepter along with it's beefier friend the Slab could be very usefull for overhand/thumber type shots as well.

metal flake glow c-line. 170g+. Very nice feel and flight. It's on the gummy side so it's great for winter. It's quite overstable with very little glide making it excellent for headwinds, skip shots and trick shots. Very good if you need to control distance and not go too far.

C an MF blends and man I love em both. I have 2 lighter weight 162 and 169 MFs and 3 C blends from 175-162 as well. From my understating these are basically flattened firebirds. Coming to team infinite this year these have replaced both my felons and criminals. They are a stable workhorse. I am absolutely loving the MF plastic we have released and the slight less stability it offers plus the nice gummy feel in hand. This blend in this stable disc in lighter weights is giving me such workable lines and wide variety of shots with just one fairway. Thrown on a nice backhand flex I can work this out to about 325’ with a full flex line. Thrown flat my max c line will hook up and fin finish left in any wind I’ve thrown it in so far. This is not a great beginner disc unless you are in need of that extra stable wind fighter, or you want to explore the lightest weights available if you are wanting this as your min fairway. I’ve yet to turn any of these over yet, and doubt I ever will. A great stable disc and the one I am now reaching for the most often in the wind, or when it  must finish left (rhbh).
