I love my Pharaoh.  It is a bit angle sensitive for my forehand (350' max distance).  If I get the angle right however, it will execute a beautiful s-curve and wind up way down the fairway.

The Pharoah has been my distance driver for a few months and I'm still somewhat shocked at how far and accurately I can launch them. I'm somewhat of a beginner, almost 50 years old, and throw from a standstill position while on the teepad (I'd heard a lot of pros say you should learn standstill before attempting the run-up, so that's what I've been doing).

Yesterday, I threw both 150 gram S-Blend Pharoahs just to the right of the basket 375 feet away. I was playing with someone who was practicing for a rec. league tournament, and he was sort of stunned that I threw that well without running up. I was too!

First and foremost...this is a great disc for skilled amateurs.  This is not going to help early entrants to the sport.  If you aren't throwing a destroyer enough to flip, this disc won't help you much.  It doesn't feel as fast as a boss or other 13 speed discs but it does feel slightly faster than a destroyer.  My opinions are made from my throws with disc.  I average 430 on drives and Max out at 540.  I have a powerful arm and throw with a lot of spin.  I also know my discs well enough to trust flip and fade.

For the hand feel, it felt a bit firmer than my 4x pmb plastic, maybe a bit closer to champ plastic but not quite as stiff.  It is grippy and kept it's grip when slightly moist.  A quick wipe down with a towel gave me confidence throwing again.

For the flight, the first thing I notice is a bit of flip but not very much.  Just enough that I can give it a baby hyzer and trust it to stay flat.  The fade is reliable but not as hard as my go to destroyers.  With that said, the 2 fade is very accurate; it fades like a Thunderbird once it slows.  Where this discs separates itself from the rest of my bag is the forward push once it slows down.  If I throw it flat and get a little right movement, the fade will carry forward first and settle left.  I suppose this is the glide.

Overall this is a great mold that will benefit experienced players with powerful arms

So I had a pair of Star Shrykes and loved the diffenece between the flight (one was a significant amount flippier than the other), but I needed something more OS, to hopefully handle the headwinds the Shrykes couldn't (also I lost the beefier Shryke).  My initial impressions of the Pharoah were quite good as the only thing I didn't like was the dark green color.  It's like a Shryke OS, even when compared to the 3 Champs Shrykes I acquired after the Pharoah, the Champs work for max D, the Pharoah works for controlled max D and my Star Shryke works for tailwinds and max D shots that have to end right (RHBH).  I'm hoping for a C-Blend run that could possibly be my headwind driver (I hyzerflipped the Pharoah into a 15 MPH headwind and it exhibited its -1, 2 flight and flew 440'), or I'll have to throw a Destroyer or something similar in the bag.  I feel like Egyptian history, I want more Pharaohs!
