    Luster C-Blend Details

Luster C-Blend is the same durability and make up as C-Blend Plastic (comparable to Innova Champion), but the Luster plastic has a shimmer to it. This makes the plastic not only durable and long-lasting, but also adds more cosmetic appeal with the extra glimmer. Some players feel like Luster adds just a touch more stability to the disc, and is more firm than the traditional C-Blend.

I initially tried the Pharaoh as I was looking for a max distance high speed driver in lighter weights for easier distance and it fits that slot perfectly for me. My typical max driving distance (RHBH) is 375-400' with a Star Wraith and the Pharaoh is the first disc I've been able to break 400' with somewhat consistently. While this is labeled as a 13 speed, the rim is 0.1cm wider than a Destroyer or Zeus (per PDGA approval) which makes it comfortable in the hand.

I-Blend (167g) - most understable of the Pharaohs I have but it's still a solid flyer. More turn than other plastics below but will still fade if there's not much headwind. Good for hyzer-flip max distance shots or long turnovers. I'd call this one 12,6,-2,1.5

Luster C-Blend (170g) - this version (run 23) of the Pharoah is what got me hooked on this mold. Lots of dome and glide, really great neutral bomber. Thrown flat and smooth this disc wants to ride to the right before the pushing fade kicks in as the disc slows down. On hyzer it stands up to flat and rides straight for most of the flight before fading. Can handle some wind but I'm typically throwing this in <10mph wind or with a tailwind. For me this is 12,6,-1.5,2

X-Out Halo S-Blend (163g) - this disc is the perfect max distance driver for my game. Easy distance with the lighter weight but still stable enough to handle 10-15mph headwind when thrown on hyzer. Very similar flight to the Luster C-Blend but a step up in stability so it turns less on a flat release and requires less hyzer to get a long straight flight. It can still hold a turn all the way to the ground if I throw with too much off-axis torque but that's user error. My most predictable max distance disc and I hope Infinite runs more lightweight halos. Numbers for me are 12,6,-1,2

Erika Stinchcomb Halo S-Blend (167g) - this one was too stable for what I want out of a Pharaoh. Not sure if it's the run or just the plastic but it wasn't for me. I'd call it 12,5,0,2.5

I bought a Luster C-Blend to replace a Splatter S-Blend I lost and the two could not be more different. The Splatter was a neutral bomber with some finishing stability, think Lucid Raider. This Luster, at the same weight of 169, is a super domey, flip machine, think beat-in Fuzion Trespass or similar. Definitely will not hold up into ANY head wind and is really only good for straight tail winds or as a roller. Very disappointed in how flippy this disc is. I thought being C-Blend, it would be more stable not less. Oh well, I didn't need another flippy bomber so this disc may not stay in the bag.
