    Signature Halo G-Blend Details

Signature Halo G-Blend is a premium, long-lasting plastic blend comparible to Innova GStar plastic with the decorative Halo effect (the rim is a different color than the inside plate). It offers a unique metallic shine that not only looks good, but it is also incredibly grippy and flexible. This plastic blend is especially recommended for playing disc golf when it's cold outside or for players who like grippy premium plastic. The signature edition helps to support a touring professional player.

After trying a half dozen different plastics and weights, I'm convinced there's a Pharaoh for anyone throwing 300+ and that it's one of the longest flying discs you can find until you're throwing well over 400. Even once you step up to Destroyers or similar for regular drives or max distance, the Pharaoh still works well for hyzer flips or big turnovers. This thing wants to fly and there's a ton of variety to cater to different arms and flights.

On the more overstable end, the Metal Flake Glow is firm and is close to the stability of some Destroyers. Halo S runs have varied some for me but they're all on the overstable end as far as Pharaohs go. Some are domier than others. I-Blend and the new Halo G runs are straight to understable, with lighter weights making them even more accessible to lower arm speeds.

As long as the large rim isn't too wide for grip, it doesn't take much speed to get a nice flex flight out of a light I-Blend. On the opposite end, my beefiest Pharaohs overlap with some of the beat in Destroyers and Emperors I have. It gives you a lot of options to find the right Pharaoh or the opportunity to bag multiples. I usually keep 2-3 in the bag and they're my longest discs in most conditions. If my Emperors are getting out to 350 but fading hard, a Pharaoh is finishing with more push forward towards 400.

I think I probably recommend this disc more than any other. That's mostly because everyone is looking for distance and I haven't found anything better. With all the plastics and weights, the Pharaoh is tough to beat.

    So 2 things:

    1. This plastic blend is, imo, the best-feeling blend infinite has. It's like a mix between star and gstar, and it feel NIIIIICE.

    2. This. Thing. Bombs. I think Erika said in her drop video she thinks this blend goes the farthest, and I agree with her.

For reference, I throw 400' somewhat comfortably, 430+ on a really good shot.
yesterday, I threw this 465 on a hyzer flip. So it definitely bombs, and that 6 glide is legit.
I've been able to throw the pharaoh in other plastics fairly well, but this one also has been the most workable for me. The I-blend has a tipping point where if you throw to hard, it burns over for me.
The S-blend feels a little too stiff mid-flight for me, bit getting the turn I want out of it.
And the Dave Feldberg C-blend flies nice (comparable in distance), but feels a little squirrelly to me. It can be unpredictable in when it holds an s-turn and when it just dumps over. So it's a bit too touchy. And the plastic has ok grip.

But this g-blend is the best of all these factors -  great distance, great grip and hand feel, and predictable smooth flight path.

Throw flat, and it will turn for a good bit, then come out at the end, landing slightly right of my line.

Throw on a little hyzer, and it will smoothly flip up, ride right just a bit l, then come back and finish left of line.

Throw on a max distance line (anny), and it will hold the line almost the entire time and either finish flat or come out of it right at the end, landing way right of your line.

honestly, this is the max distance driver I've been working for, but it comes with the added bonus of also being VERY workable.
