First disc I bought after getting back into disc golf was an I-blend Pharaoh, and initially I wasn't a big fan of it. After working my arm speed up and getting my form down, I went back to this for an uphill drive and have been consistently picking one up over a destroyer ever since. Easily touching that 400' drive distance without much effort, and loving every second of it.

Disc: 2nd Run Infinite Discs Swirly S-Blend Pharaoh, 170g

Feel: This disc feels really good backhand. It’s a bit domey, but not overly so. The plastic is pretty good, it has some nice durability, and the grip is good. I’ve noticed that there tends to be quite a bit of correlation with plastic types and my releases. Much more so than it seems to be for most people. The Infinite Discs S-Blend is really great for me, it’s grippy enough to cling to my fingers, but not so grippy that it leads to late releases. I can usually get this out of my hand right when I want to, and the only plastic I would say is easier for me to get significant spin on is Innova’s Star plastic. I definitely plan on trying out a few more Infinite Discs just based on the feel of the plastic alone. The only thing that isn’t great about this disc is the fact that it doesn’t feel too great forehand. But I still love it!

Flight: This disc feels very much like a Shryke. The flight pattern is pretty similar, but I’d say it’s just a tad bit more stable. This disc does beat out the Shryke on hyzer flips. I get the best result when I rip into the throw, and release with a slight hyzer. It flips up to flat, then turns for a little bit. It slowly comes out of the turn, goes back to flat for a while, and then fades softly. I get about 375 consistently from that shot. Which is good for me, I typically get 325-350 out of my drives. (I don’t have the best arm yet) This disc really won’t flip over if you throw it properly. I live in Oklahoma, so I know what wind can do to a disc. I’ve also learned to tell the difference between the flights of a disc that flips due to a mediocre release into a headwind, and a disc that flips simply because of the headwind. I have yet to see this disc flip solely due to wind.

Overall: I’m having a hard time putting the Pharaoh in my bag, as if I do, I’ll have to boot my Shryke. And that’s been my go-to driver for a lot of anhyzer shots, turnovers, and rollers. If this disc felt good for me on forehand throws, it would be in my bag right now. As it is, it’ll probably work its way into my bag in a month or two.

I acquired this disc in a trade, fully expecting to trade it off for something else. Once I tried it, I saw that this is by far my furthest flying disc. This disc likes to S curve. Flips up to the right and comes back nicely. You can really control the angle well with this. A distance driver with the control of a fairway driver is a wonderful tool to have in your bag. This disc made it possible to reach holes I haven't before, and make longer holes much easier. Maybe it can do that for you as well. Try it out!

I really enjoyed trying this disc out, it felt very similar to other discs in this category and flew very nice. It is very fast and gets a nice flight out of it. I would not recommend this disc to beginners but if you have the arm speed to throw a 12-13 speed discs then it would make a nice out of the box straight distance driver.

The Pharoah has become one of my go to distance drivers. I have the first addition Garrett Gurthie Swirly S blend. It took me a while to break it in and get used to it, but now I use it regularly. It holds an anhyzer line very well. I usually throw it on a hyper flip line to get it to pop up flat and ride straight for a long time. I would recommend the pharoah to anyone. If you have a slower arm speed I would suggest getting it in I-blend.

This disc was introduced to my by a friend on the course and it has become my favorite max distance driver. My arm is not huge  but it’s not weak either. This is my go to disc for drives 400+. I just ordered a backup. Love this disc!

Picked one up after a guy on my card at a tournament was bombing one, and what do you know, this things bombs. Consistently outdrove my Trespasses by 20' with little effort on a low line drive hyzerflip both backhand and forehand. Not sure I'd trust it in a strong headwind but stands up alright in the wind. This disc is staying in my bag for big distance shots (both open and wooded). Excited to see what this disc becomes as I get more and more rounds with it.

Picked up one of the GG signature S Blends. Way flippier than I expected, turned and dove into some prairie grass. Also, the muddy brown swirly plastic blended in with mid fall dead prairie grass. Luckily I found it, and adjusted to the disc on the next couple throws.

I think it would end up falling into the fippy/turnover driver slot in my bag, which is rarely used for me, more of a utility slot.

Other than that, the disc looks nice, plastic feels good, and it has a pretty standard wide run driver feel. I could understand someone really liking this disc, but not really for me. Maybe a different more stable run would be better.

I am updating my review since the 2nd Run has come out. I'll be short and to the point.

1st Run Pharaoh's, I have 5, Truly a 13 speed, I'd say a 5 glide, turn of -0.5 to -1, Fade of 2 to 3. Fantastic disc, just like a beat in destroyer, but a tad faster. In a slight headwind, throw on a hyzer flip to get a straight flight. Throw flat to get a slight turn with a dependable fade at the end.

2nd Run Pharaoh's GG, I have 3, Still a 13 Speed, for sure a 6 glide, turn would be -1 to -1.5, Fade of 2 to 3. They are definitely domey compared to the 1st run, and they glide more. They are also slightly more understable.

I use this disc for max distance backhands, 400 feet on flat ground measured by google or UDISC. 1st Run I had to throw flat to get a little turn and a good fade. 2nd Run, I needed to throw on a hyzer flip to get a similar flight. A flat release with 2nd run meant the disc was turning much more, but still fading at the end. From reading, Run 3 in I-Blend is even more understable.

    Hope this helps people out!

I throw a mix bag and try and give everything an honest try. I’m choosing the Pharaoh as my first review for two reasons.

First, this disc is what I have been in search for every since I’ve learned to throw speed 12 and up disc. I don’t have a cannon for an arm, but I average about 340’ on my drives and with a good pull can put them out to 375’ – 400’ range.

The best way I can describe this disc is that It’s in-between a seasoned Innova Destroyer and a Westside Destiny. Destroyer like with the turn and fade. Destiny like in speed and glide. Best part of both disc and is what I have been searching for. Because of the glide it can turn a little more in a head wind but not turnover when thrown flat if you know how to add a little spin to your disc. Hyzer flip this disc in those situations and problem solved.

Second reason for this review is that I read about guys flipping over disc and put the blame on the disc. I’m not being a hater when I say this, but it’s not the disc fault. I play with plenty of guys that can bomb; I mean guys that can throw rivers in to a headwind and make them look stable.

If you’re a beginner this disc is not going to be your max distance driver but with practice and increased skill it will go from a utility driver a solid driver to your max distance disc. to that. For big armed seasoned advanced players this is the perfect hyzer flip disc for max distance, tail wind or for anhyzer shots that will hold the line with a little turn when the disc slows down. For guys like me (average advanced) this is a trusty max distance driver and what you have been searching for if you wanted a longer straighter Destroyer without sacrificing accuracy with your Destiny type disc.

Infinite Discs and Innova knocked it out of the park with the Pharaoh!

I might have gotten a flippy version of this disc, but it wasn't for me.  I couldn't help turning it over when I threw it.  I would place it's turn numbers more as a -2 to -2.5.  I throw it up on a hyzer line and it flips all the way over on me.  Similar flight path to an Innova Shryke, again I might have gotten a flippy one, not sure.
