Signature D-Blend Details

D-Blend plastic is a basic, inexpensive plastic blend (compare to Innova DX plastic). It has good grip and medium softness. It is more easily beat-in when used than premium plastics, but is preferred by many players for putters and mid-range discs where grip is important. The Signature edition is priced higher to support professional players with their touring efforts.

I usually putt with the Legacy Prowler but I wanted to make a change and add another putter to my bag. The Kona Alpacas I have are lighter weight and took a little getting used to but are extremely accurate inside the circle and fly well for push putt style putting. Nice and straight flight without having to put a lot of effort into throwing the disc.

I started off putting with the Aviar and switched to the Pig for a long time. I got tired of the rollaway I was getting with the Pig so I switched to the P2. The recent shortage of the P2 had me looking for another putter for practicing, which led me to using the Alpaca. I got some of the c-blend glow putters for night golf and love the feel of these putters. I have also bought the D, P, X, G and I blend versions of this disc. The I blend is good in cooler temps, but I use the G blend more during the summer in Texas.
