The ones I got was incredibly domed to the max. It was quite awful to use since I am not a fan of too much dome. When I found the same mold & plastic at my local disc store, it felt really good! And when I took it out to the course, I could see why so many people recommend it. But if you have a smaller hand or not a fan of deeper disc, this might not be the mold for you.

I picked this putter up along with a few others to try out and use for practice putting. I really enjoyed this disc, however, it's been in an out of the bag. I think I'm a bead guy for my putting putters, but I actually enjoy breadless for my throwing putters. This disc makes for just that. Flies straight with nice glide and a slight fade to finish. A lot like a Innova Invader but without the bead. Would recommend!

Fantastic throwing putter! The I blend is more grippy and a little more os than the other premium plastics.

G-blend (=Gstar) Alpaca from the putter pack is MONEY.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make this a standard in the line-up!

For those unaware, the Alpaca is similar profile to the Firefly and flies as such.  I used an S-line P2 until the post-covid disc-drought, then went with a Berg for all putter activity. The G-blend Alpaca bumped the Berg as it does everything within 100ft of the basket. Hopefully, there will be more G blends when it is time to replace this one. This blend seems to like to drop out of the sky quicker than the X (=Pro), P (=KCpro) blends, too.  Cheers!

The I-Blend Alpaca is a great throwing putter. I can throw it hard and flat and it will ride straight with a bit of finish at the end. I can throw it lower speeds on a hyzer angle and it will hold the angle the whole way. I also like to throw it for turnovers as it has enough stability to not burn over and it holds the angle well.

I don't recommend the I-blend for putting in warm climates as I find it is too soft and mushy to get a clean release.

The I-blend is great for throwing as it will sit where it lands and not get crazy skips which is what is needed for upshots.

I would highly recommend the alpaca in I-blend for anyone that is looking for a throwing putter that has enough stability to handle power, but not too much that it is hard to keep straight.

Love this disc, so much so I got the x-outs so I could practice. Plays true to its numbers.

I am glad I found this one. I bought the regular alpaca first and loved it so much I looked to get more in the x-out for practice. Great steady putter that flies very straight with just enough Gide.
