The R-Blend Alpaca features a soft, flexible plastic with enhanced grip, ideal for players who prefer a tacky, forgiving feel in the hand. This version of the Infinite Discs Alpaca excels on touch shots and straight putts, with minimal fade and excellent control. The softer plastic grabs chains more effectively and reduces ground play, making it a strong choice for cold or wet conditions.

    165g Infinite Alpaca R-blend

    I bought 3 Alpacas (on sale) recently to test Infinite plastics. I bought 165g R-blend, a 175g D-blend, and a 175g X-blend. I will be writing reviews for all 3 discs.

The Alpaca is a 3/3/0/1 which are very popular numbers for a putter. Feels like the Innova Nova or Aviar, the MVP Anode or Atom, the Discmania P2 or Sensei. These are all discs that I like and are popular. What it will come down to is which feels good to throw.

I like the R-blend plastic, as it feels good in my hand. It has decent grip and feels like a more durable retro plastic with a little gumminess. I will likely bag either the R-blend and/or D-blend Alpaca. These are very reliable discs that act by the numbers.

Really like the feel of this plastic! Pretty much sticks wherever it hits. Hits the chains nice and doesn't seem to get bounced out at all. I have been using one from the premium pack and love the stamps of course! But seriously if you are wanting to try this disc i think it is a great one to try! Has just the right amount glide and fade for putts from any range! Mine has been keeping pretty true even with the heavy use ive given it.
